It worked well.

We had many scratches and a couple of gouges in our dishwasher front panel, after scraping off several magnets that had bonded to the panel. We used Barry's Scratch-B-Gone Homeowner Kit as directed, along with significant elbow grease, and were very pleased with the result. Although a few deep gouges remained, they are very hard to see, and almost all of the scratches are no longer visible. We had to finish the whole front of the dishwasher to make an even finish, and the overall finish lost some of it's original sheen, the end result looks great. It was expensive, but worth the cost.

My $900 sink is only 1 year old. I sprayed a chemical descaler all over and went to work without washing the chemical off. When I came home it looked like someone threw ink all over the stainless sink. Tried scrubbing it off with dish pad. No luck. It looked so bad I thought about replacing the sink but they were all sold out. Went on YouTube and researched what to do. Saw Scratch-B-Gone. Tried it and the sink looks new again. Only had to use the grey pad with moderate to hard scrubbing. Took me about 30min to restore to a new finish. Wish I had a before pic to show. The attached pic is after the job. Great product.

Good product overall. The kit was well thought out and had all the needed pieces to give some renewed shine to our 50 year old sink. My sink is a 1/3 and 2/3 two bowl sink. There were years of scratches and marks in the sink. The process took about an hour and a half to get through all the "grits" of material. The deepest scratches were still there for me, but the majority of the marks and surface scratches were all gone. I think I took at least 30 of the last 50 years of wear out of the sink. I'd recommend gloves for safety sake. Maybe even a mask because there is some metal dust. Smell isn't too bad if you've used other metal polishes before. Overall, if your sink is just looking a little abused, try this kit. It's well worth the money and the time.
