MB-8 is a proprietary film-formatting topical finish to help preserve the original shine on polished stone floors (marble, granite, etc) installed on high-traffic areas. Application: The floor to be treated must be free of any preexisting coating, soil or dust. Pour 1 cap full of MB8 on a corner of the floor to be treated and spread it evenly over an area of approximately 20 square feet (2 square meters) using a wet finishing mop staying at least 1 foot (30 cm) from the walls. Repeat the procedure until the whole floor is coated. When dry, buff the floor using a high-speed burnisher with proper polishing pads (hogs-hair pads are recommended, but not necessary). Repeat the procedure, since two coats are recommended. In the area of the floor that is going to be subjected to the most intense traffic (doorways, elevator doors, front-desk, etc.) apply two additional coats to blend with the rest. The final result should be a perfectly shiny and uniform surface, with no "orange -peel" effect or burnishing marks. If swirl-marks are detectable, spray some MB10 over the area and burnish immediately when still wet.
