How deep is the seat?

If you measure from the lumbar support to very front edge of the seat, it’s only around 18 inches. If you go to the front edge supporting your thighs… like 16 usable inches. If you use the lumber support at all you lose inches.

Looking for a chair for my secretary and she's about 5 foot tall. Will this chair be suitable for her?

No, i am 5’ 1” and my feet hang. Will need to make the return. The online specs don’t mention this, but in the owners manual says Height Capacity is 5”4’ - 5’6”
