Great crunch and flavor.
Family favorite. Stay crisp forever. My Finnish husband introduced me to them.

So good
I've loved sour rye crackers all my life. I've been dismayed to see them disappear from grocery shelves in the US over the decades, apparently not sweet, fatty, or salty enough for most Americans. I'm so glad these are available to order in bulk. They stand in well for fresh European style sour rye bread, but keep indefinitely, good for packing on day or longer backpacks with especially tinned fish, sturdy enough to act like a spoon. Clean simple ingredient list, true sourdough tang, caraway helps with digestion of rich toppings like that fish, or stinky cheeses. I have a frequent kid visitor who asks for these all the time, giving me hope that our food future does not belong to Keebler elves and the like, with their insistence on putting fat and sugar into crackers.

Pretty good.
Pretty tasty but not as good as Rye Kris’s. How I miss Rye Krisps!

NEW PACKAGING----LESS PRODUCT!
These super healthy and all natural crispbreads are definitely our favorite. We buy pack of 9 quite often and never get tired of them. You can spread butter, lox spread, any cream cheese and have a delightful breakfast or mid-day snack. As guilt free as they come! UPDATE: I love this product simply, because it is made only of few ingredients and the main one is RYE- so rare these days with wheat this wheat that. These are perfect for dipping hummus or just smearing liverwurst over. They are also excellent by themselves; I always had few stashed as a snack in the car, and to tame morning sickness. 2 slices are 40 calories so you are not doing much damage to the waistline, in case someone is particular about that. Either way, I am inclined to take a star off, because the new packaging came with a small surprise.....at least 4-6 slices less than in the old packaging. And its not like the price went down with this change, or did it? I think if you pay for each pack, less than $2.5, its a win win, because whole foods for instance sometimes has a sale on them where you get 2 for $5 and thats generally as low as the promotion would go. On Amazon you can catch it for a lot less (if you pay attention to constant price fluctuations based on the demand) than $2.5 per if you buy a set of 9 as a pack. So in the past, the carton flaps on each side of the package would hide some of the slices at edges, and I would catch myself almost discarting the package with a few of them still left inside. Well, i guess that issue is gone as now the box looks too big, because it is simply not full. I attached some pictures to show (the clear plastic hasn't been ripped off yet, so you can see that I just moved the paper flaps on each side to display this new shortage. :( I am a little disappointed to say the least, just because I like them so much.

Bad packaging by shipper
Excellent product that I’ve purchased for years but these were shipped in a paper bag. Resulting in crushed product. This seems to be Amazons new overall packaging as I received other crackers and crushable items the same way. Will find another source.
