Baby GUND Oh So Soft Honey Teddy Bear Stuffed Animal Plush, 12"

Nearly perfect bear for baby! So close. The color is much lighter than the picture which I preferred anyway, but the biggest downfall is how much it sheds! Especially along the seams. Just doesn't seem particularly safe for baby. I took a lint roller to it but the fur kept coming out in chunks. I finally washed it and dried it and took a lint roller to it again and it seems better, but there are still little bits of fur coming off.Other than that it has SUCH a sweet feel to it and the face is adorable. The photos are the various stages of de-fuzzing. All in all I think he'll be the perfect teddy for our little girl.

It's totally adorable and super, super soft - I wish I could give it 5 stars but it SHEDS LIKE CRAZY!!! I got this as a gift for a newborn but unless I'm able to stop the shedding I don't think it will be suitable given how babies "eat" everything.I manually tried pulling the loose "fur" out, and after getting a huge ball of fuzz, decided to machine wash cold on the delicate cycle per the washing instructions, but it's still shedding like crazy. I think it's so cute that I am actually going to keep trying to remove all the excess fuzz, but it sucks that it sheds this way - Gund has always had such good quality, so this is very disappointing :(The pics I added show the fuzz sticking off the bear, the fuzz I pulled out of the bear in 5 seconds of minimal pulling on the ears, and the ear fuzz balled up - total choking hazard.

I love the Gund bears - they are infant-friendly and very well made. I've purchased several of these over the years for my own kids and now my grandkids. This one is a little smaller than the regular bears and I think it makes a great newborn gift. I'm very happy with my purchase!

This is the softest bear I have ever felt. Super snuggly. Big enough for a small child and light/small enough for our petite 16 month old to lug around. Excellent friend to hug and snuggle for many years to come.

This bear is ridiculously soft and just wonderful. Perfect for a small child. It's not a tightly packed bear so the stuffing is a bit loose but that, in my opinion, makes it even more huggable.

I wanted a soft, floppy bear for my future baby and this was exactly what I was looking for.

I was seeking a teddy bear that has a close resemblance to the teddy bear featured in my child's favourite Dave and Ava series. This teddy caught my eye and I went for this lovely shade. The delivery was quick and the product arrived in mint condition within a sealed bag. It was soft and cuddly. My child loves it very much since the revelation at his birthday. It seemed to hold up fine for machine wash in a meshed bag. :)
