Q: Can someone show me how to put this on please.

the unit comes with the base also. you need to remove the bottom portion if all you need is the cap.

Q: Does this cap work on the 2014 1.4L Cruze?

Yes, it’s suppose to be the “updated” design based on the newer model years. Has a heavier o ring to prevent oil from leaking. Works great on my 12 1.4L

Q: Does it fit on a chevy equinox 2010?

I put it on a 2013 Chevy Cruze with a 1.4 liter. Not sure about a chevy equinox 2010.

Q: Is this just the oil filler cap or does it come with the short adapter? Cause I notice it says without tube extension put it shows it in the picture

What is pictured is what I received, it is all one piece. Worked great on a 2011 Chevy Cruze. I was having a problem with oil leaking under the factory cap and on to the motor this solved the problem.
