A truly amazing product
The device is of excellent quality and very easy to use. Easy to hold and easy to handle, it has a beautiful design and is equipped with a lanyard for easy maintenance. It is equipped with a micro SIM card and works both in conversation mode and in translation mode. it can connect in Wifi or sim or directly to the cellular network via its integrated eSim. Very surprised it comes with a USB type-c charging cable, so it is capable of charging via type C. It allows: - to translate in all languages the text you dictate. - or even more impressive, to hold a conversation with someone in another language. In this case absolutely everything is translated, in both directions. I would buy the device again, because there is an excellent perfection and quality. That's why I can only recommend the purchase. If you are looking for an effective way to overcome the language barrier and communicate more easily with your interlocutors, it is certain that this instant voice translator will delight you.

First impressions ...
Overall, very good. A doddle to set up, even with my poor 'techie' skills. Family are native Russian-Ukrainan speakers. Russian translations are pretty accurate, Ukrainian 4/5. We know a smattering of Polish, Italian & German and sense that it more accurately translates more 'mainstream' European languages. We'll let you know about use abroad as soon as the Government here lets us out! Developers - if you're reading this, please consider adding Farsi/Persian voice translation. There are 100m+ Persian speakers, 3 times more than Icelandic.

Used daily for 2 months - absolutely fantastic
I wanted to say about the translator for those that may have read other reviews - that it's absolutely incredible - my elderly parents live in France and speak only basic French - bought this for them 2 months ago and they use it numerous times a day to talk to all the sorts of people you'd encounter when living somewhere including medical staff etc - and it works seamlessly including understanding even medical words. One major concern I had which i'd seen mentioned in the reviews was that the device does not always work well if it only gets 3G reception in the spot where you're going to use it - my answer to that for those who have bought it is simply this - hold the listen button down until all of the words you've said in English have appeared on the screen BEFORE letting go of the button for it to speak it's results - it just runs a little more slowly in 3G areas - but is still perfectly acceptable. My parents live out in the countryside miles from a big city and get 4G about 3/4 of the time and 3G the rest of the time - you can of course also put a wifi code in if in a restaurant or at home etc.

High-performance voice translator, and easy to use
Excellent two-way voice translator with elegant design, good handling, with a wrist strap to deal with any unpleasant event. Very easy to use with only one button simplicity, and I find the translations pretty accurate. It works with a built-in eSIM card, but also with WIFI or SIM card. It is operational in translation and conversation mode as soon as it is switched on. It can translate any conversation into the 2 previously selected languages in a range of 92 languages, by simply pressing a button placed on the right side during the spoken sentence and then releasing it, the translator will instructing to recognize the language of the spoken sentence and it will automatically translate to another one. Moreover, endowed with an assistance named Euri which will give you the answers to your questions concerning, for example, the price of one currency compared to another or the forecasts the country in which you are. This translator will undoubtedly satisfy the most demanding travelers who, without him, would feel very helpless. I absolutely recommend this language translator device.

Expensive but essential if you travel freqently to countries that don't speak a lot of English
I experienced one of these devices a few months ago when a friend used one while we were travelling and it is fantastic, so I bought one myself. It is not cheap, so it is not something I would recommend everyone buy, but if you travel a lot then it is a fantastic tool. In particular, if English isn’t your native language I would imagine this is an essential purchase. For me, I do speak English, and as a stereotypical Brit I speak no other languages. I travel quite a bit, and if you venture out of the main cities in a lot of countries the number of people speaking fluent/any English drops off quickly. I have recently experienced this a lot France, Italy and Latvia. Even in the centre of Paris, trying to ask a police officer something, resulted in a complete language breakdown. In general, this is much quicker to use than a phone app, the outputted voice is less robotic, accuracy is superb and translations amazing fast. Two-way translation also allows you to speak naturally with anyone you need to. I mainly just tether this to my phone Wi-Fi but if I am away for a long time I will get a proper SIM for it. I have not used the eSim yet, as it is quite expensive, but the option to be able to use it if and when needed is fantastic. As I travel for work a lot, investing in this has been well worth the cash, so I am not stressed continuously when trying to order some food, or just day to day tasks that involve communicating with people that don’t work in the service industry.

Very good technology
Works very well when on wifi. Only 2 languages available offline, neither of which were languages of use to me. However, still pleased with it.

Great toy
Works ok. Just sometimes when you are not loud enough it gives you strange talk back in your own language saying non sense. It's fun. Otherwise very accurate. Battery could be batter so make sure to fill it up every day even if you didn't use it.

You have to get one of this translator!
The best translator I have ever bought. I love this translator. It is very convenient to use. I tried to translate English to Spanish, or Spanish to English. It only needs one button to process the translation and translates fast. No matter I speak any one of English/Spanish, it will automatically translate to another one. This is completely different from the one I bought last year which has two buttons for different languages input. I tested it with my Japanese and Chinese friends, it works perfectly. In addition, it has a big and high definition screen, I can see if it recorded my words correctly or not. And I can also check the translation records which really helps me a lot. Cause my memory is very bad, especially when I need to ask for road directions. There is one more thing I would to talk about that it’s an online translator but it can automatically connect to the Internet, which is powered by its embedded SIM. Translation data is free for the 1st year as it says on the website. Besides, it can connect to internet by general SIM card network and WI-FI. It has also a mobile hotspot function, but it requires extra data purchase (local mobile data plan). So I will try it out later when I travel to the UK next month. Hope it work. It’s easy to use and helpful. Great performance, RECOMMENDED!!!

Very good working device as described!
The translation has good accurate abilities and can hear talking at a fair distance so don’t have to be to close. I like the size and easy use of it. The already installed eSIM is definitely handy to have instead of wifi hotspot and works just as good as home internet. I’m so happy with this device even if I payed more than what I expected to want to pay for a device but I’m definitely going to have a working device that’s dependable. I would recommend this device to anyone compared to other cheap device. Pay a little extra than the cheaper ones because you will be more happier than having troubles with other brands. Happy translating everyone.

Extremadamente recomendable.

Very good language translator, few updates would make it the best on the market
The Langogo device seems to work well so far. I have used it manually, and in person, and over the phone while my iPhone had the speaker on. It will even translate the TV across the room in conversation mode, granted not as well on run on sentences. There are some things that could be better and the update feature should enable these updates and fixes. Why I bought this: I plan to travel aboard several times in 2019 and I wanted a device as a backup to my expensive cell phone. You pull your phone out enough, and it will get dropped or grabbed and then dropped, then what! Let’s talk about some interesting things that I did not realize about this device prior to buying: 1. There is a built in eSIM. As soon as I turned it on it connected in the US to a 4G tower with five bar signal. This was without a actual SIM card installed in the card slot. The built in eSIM connects. There is a menu option to buy time on this eSIM in all the counties that support eSIM. Note: The actual SIM card slot is a Mini-SIM not a Micro-SIM. So when you travel buy a Mini-SIM for data in the country you travel or just activate the eSIM if you want. I have not tested either but the build quality of the device makes me think, no issue. 2. After connecting to my local WiFi, I did an update and the new software installed without an issue. 3. The charging port is USB-C which is a newer port type 4. The new update version enables conversation mode, like Google Translate. The conversation icon has two microphones, click on that gives you dynamic automatic translation of your choice of two languages. This works pretty good, timing is not as finely tuned as Google Voice on a new iPhone though. You need to pause a moment between sentences for it to catch up and translate. You can also press the side button to help close the sentence rather than waiting for the device to recognize the end after a pause. 5. You can also flip the text of the person you are talking to, so they can read it while you still have the device facing you and you read your translation transcript facing you. Great feature. What would I like to see changed or updated: 1. Just being picky, the day of the week on the main screen is off one day. Simple fix via an update. The time of day is accurate from the 4G connection. Just the day of the week is wrong, Tuesday says Wednesday in the US..Etc. 2. The side button tone is very loud when pressed. In normal mode you start and stop each translation via the side button. This device has dual speakers and they are nice and loud. The problem is the side button tone volume is tied to the main volume. It is way too loud. You need the side button volume on its own menu setup rather than tied to the master volume. This is a big deal for me; I would like to even mute the button tone volume when needed without affecting the master volume. 3. The biggest want I have is, there is no capability for a headset or Bluetooth headset. Maybe they could channel the USB-C to a headset with an update. The best fix would be to have Bluetooth. That would make this device top of the pack. You pair this device in conversation mode with a set of dual microphone ear buds with proximity detect like Apple AirPod, and each person with one ear bud could talk in their native language and hear each one translated in the ear bud. That would put this device ahead of everything I have seen on the market. PS. I’m writing this review to help fellow translation device buyers and to help this company get some updates rolling to fix and enhance their already nice product. Cheers! Updated. 3/1/2019. I have used this device in Bogota and Cartagena Colombia and it works very well. It prefers 4G or WiFi for the fastest transition. I changed my rating to 5 star. The units is excellent. The volume turns out to be fine. The only issue I have is actidently changing the language. It’s a touch screen , so it’s easy to bump the swip down and change the language by mistake. Other than this and of course needing Bluetooth for earbuds, it’s perfect
