All of the doctor's video content gave me a path to explore myself. I gradually discovered that the signs that I would not normally pay attention to were actually diseases. So I started with long-term fasting. Lost 40 pounds in half a month. Then I stopped. Because I feel like my insulin resistance is gone. Vision improved. A lot of body inflammation disappeared. I am 60 yrs old and about four months ago I stumbled across one of his videos on YouTube. It’s not hyperbole to say he changed my life. I was at 310 lbs and had all the problems that come with carrying that kind of weight. I have lost and gained weight my whole life. I already knew some of the things necessary to loose weight but Dr Berg added new knowledge in a way that enabled me to put all the pieces together to change yo yo dieting into a comprehensive long term lifestyle. It’s probably really good and effective but holy cow is it expensive. You may not realize it at first until you do the math on what the recommended dosage is for 150 lb person. If you are 140+ lb this bottle will only last you 10 days! Now there are products out there for 1/2 the cost, however they pack only around 1000ish mg/serving vs 5000 mg in this 1 serving, so in theory you can take 1/2 the dose in this bottle and that would be like buying a cheaper equivalent. Maybe, maybe not since other products show you the breakdown of each amino. This one does not and just says 5k, so you still may not want to mix and match since you don’t know the breakdown in Bergs offering. That would be good to know. I basically take 2 tablets a day as a small supplement to my actual eggs and overall protein intake so this is not a complete replacement as it’s just far from cost effective unless you are a millionaire. I created a custom food entry in my nutrition tracker to basically equate 2 tablets to 4g of egg protein in order to tally this accordingly. Also these tablets are big, not gelatin, and not easy to swallow - especially if you need to potentially pound like 15+ of these in a day if you go along with the recommendation, lol. This would have been better in a capsule as those are easier to swallow or you have the option to break them open and work the stuff into a yogurt or something else. I use a number of Berg’s products and they are all fantastic for one reason or another, but this one is just crazy from a cost perspective. I mean it literally says “take 3 or more servings daily” and I needed to do a double take thinking they made a mistake in the label perhaps saying take 3 or more tablets not servings, but no it says servings and each serving is 5 pills! It’s hard to rate this product because it sounds like it’s at least honest about the dose for effectiveness and I would hate to down rate it based on price if it actually does work like it should even in smaller doses so just be aware this 150 tablets in this bottle is nothing with respect to the recommended dosages.

Been using the aminos prior to my active walks and have been steadily decreasing completion time while increasing distance walked; 5 tabs 30 to 45 minutes before walk with 5lbs hand weights for 4.4mls in about an hour does the trick for this 62 years young grandpa...

Being that health is a personal journey, I encourage each person reading this review to take time over the course of a few months to see if there's an improvement in your health with this supplement. Since taking it, I've been able to accomplish a few health goals that have been unreachable in the past thus, from my point of view, Dr. Berg's formulation of amino acids is a superior quality supplement which I will integrate into my nutritional arsenal on a regular basis.

This product have been a great discovery. It has helped me to change my diet and get the real nutrition I need from a supplement. It is very hard to find the correct product, but this one is excellent and the results are very tangible.
