Hit and Run (Lurlene McDaniel)

I bought a set of these for a small class of high school boys with grade-school reading levels. I was looking for a book with an "Outsiders" feel, about real high school life told from the point of view of teenagers. All of the boys were very reluctant to get started, just because it had page numbers and a cover. (I frequently hear "I don't read books.") All of them eventually realized it was interesting and within their abilities, and there was a lot of independent reading going on. I also offered this book to a girl in a college-prep English class who was looking for something to do in the last days of school. She finished it in a couple of days on her own time and also liked it. I recommend this book.

Lurelen McDaniel’s book with tear at your heart. I love her books and continue to read them all multiple times.

Great book

Love all of Lurlene McDaniel books they keep me interested from start to finish. This one in particular had a surprising ending. Thought maybe it would go the other way

There was an awful long build up for such a small climax but it was a good book! She's definitely written better

I was reading this book in class and I like it so much that I bought it it worth the 7.99 plus the 3.49 extra for narration

This is an awesome book and I suggest it to anybody. Lurlene McDaniel is a very strong writer and her books help people thew some stuff

The ending...like really??! I've read almost all lurlene books and they are amazing a well as this one but the ending stinks it seems unfinished and I'm really upset about it. This is the best author in history wtf???
