The Aurora Band, Night Roller

Before you buy this product please try to think about a time your hair came into contact with Velcro (yes, VELCRO) and it wasn't completely horrible and painful. Yeah, me either. So, I watched a couple tutorials before using this headband and was excited to try it out because I've used the same technique but with a regular headband as an actual style, you wrap and tuck your hair and it looks really cute. Long story short, when it came time for the grand reveal in the morning my hair WOULD NOT BUDGE to take this thing off because it's covered in Velcro and my hair was stuck to it. Ultimately I had to cut the headband itself across where it sits on your forehead to try and roll it out of my hair and even then my hair was all entwined in this death trap. When it finally came off I was left with a birds nest that I had to wash and style anyway (good thing I had the brains to try it on a weekend.) This thing is just a painful waste of time and I was advise against anyone wasting their $20 on it. If it wasn't covered in Velcro it would be fine, there's literally no reason for it because your hair won't slip out. Like I said, I've used the same technique with a regular headband as a style and when you take your hair out it's curled and beautiful like the way this product intends but the material this is made of just gets caught on your hair. it is very hard to get out of my hair in the morning, also I have very thick hair and it really does not curl the back of my hair very well.other than getting it out of my hair the product works well.

Oh my goodness, I love this product. I am a working mom and have no time to sit and curl my hair. Ever. I usually just blow dry and run a straightener through the ends, when I have time. When I'm feeling lazy, I use this. I don't even have to blow dry my hair all the way, I wrap it around the band and go to bed. It doesn't bother me when I sleep, I wouldn't use it if it did. It's easy for me to take out in the morning, I have fine hair, but a lot of it. I get great curls and volume, and lots of compliments. It cracks me up because it's my lazy way out of fixing my hair. Thank goodness for this product. I would recommend viewing the youtube videos that demonstrate its use, this will make it much easier.

Kinda of disappointed I purchased this. The directions state that your hair should be 80% dry. I thought it was something I could put on and sleep in saving me time to get ready in the morning. The materials are good quality, just falls off my head and when I tried to take it out, my hair was tangled no at all like the instruction videos.

I am still working on the technique. I have gotten much better at rolling (I have a topsy tail to help with the small ends). It does give decent curl, but I find that my hair doesn't dry completely most nights. I have to use the blow dryer to ensure that it gets dried. Now taking this out is a little more complicated. There are written instructions, as well as videos you can watch. But it definitely takes some practice. I keep getting the velcro stuck right at the end as I and trying to pull it down off my head. I think part of the problem is just the length of my hair. With practice, I think that this will be a great addition to my hair regimen.

Does not work. I watched videos and read all of the instructions and tips......all it did was leave a crease in my hair and no curls.It's also pretty uncomfortable to wear. Complete waste of money.

The idea is good. Lose the velcro on it. It makes hair get stuck to it and get frizzy.

Very good product. It felt weird at the beginning but after a few days I got used to it and sleep very comfortable with the band around my head.
