My toddler loves his car seat now.
We had an Evenflo car seat for him, and he always hated being in the car. We always figured it was because he hated being strapped in and not being able to move. NOPE. Turns out he hated his car seat. Since we've purchased this one, he doesn't struggle when we buckle him in, he gets in the car himself, willingly, and hops up in his car seat. I don't even have to ask him. It awesome. I was worried that as soon as the "newness" wore off, he wouldn't want to be in the car again, but we've had it for almost a month and he STILL loves to go places in his car seat. It's been awesome, as well, because it's so easy to adjust the straps. If he gets in the car in the morning wearing a bulky sweater, and it warms up by afternoon enough to take it off, it takes half a second to tighten the straps when I buckle him in. When my friend's daughter is in the car with me and my son is at home, I don't have to swap out their car seats. I just tighten the straps really fast and it's SUPER easy to loosen them again when my son rides in it after her. Considering the Evenflo car seat was a huge pain in the butt, and it was a comparable price when we got it, I'm really impressed by this one. We're going to order a second for our baby due in July, since it will fit from infancy to toddlerhood and allow me to ERF.

Works Well
There are a lot of choices when it comes to car seats. These seems to be an endless number of options with an endless number of features. This car seat is pretty basic. It converts from read facing to front facing and will grow with your child from infant to toddler. The straps are easy to manipulate and my 16 month old daughter seems comfortable and can get in and out of the seat easily. The head rest has a piece that just kind of sits behind her head, which is kind of annoying because it isn't attached. Also, per the instructions, you use a towel to help balance this seat. I thought that was kind of strange and I'm not sure if that is standard for adjustable car seats. Installation was fairly easy, although I don't think I would want to move it between cars too often. For the price point, this is a good seat. Are there better out there? Definitely, but you'd be hard-pressed to do better at this price point.EDIT: After a few months of using this seat, I'm liking it less. My daughter has figured out how to get her arms out of the seat straps, no matter how snug. Also, the fact that I have to adjust the level of the seat has grown more annoying. I've had two occasions where someone was in my car (no baby in the seat) and pushed the driver seat back to where it moved the baby seat. This means I have to either chide my passengers to not adjust the seat (thus un-leveling the baby seat) or I have to readjust the baby seat after anyone wants more leg room in the front seat.

Almost perfect!
Bought this for 75$, delivered 12-7-2013 it fits great in my 2008 civic. Lightweight to carry. It's a good snug fit in the middle of back seat. Used a folded towel to get level bar on the green part. Easy to install with latch but needs a lot of force to tighten straps. Tether cord is not very long. Does not fully wrap around seat post. But we made it work. Material & cushion is soft & comfy, comparable to diono radian rxt. Colors are as pictured, very nice. Has cup holder. We did not use the infant insert as my 13month baby boy is 23lbs 32 inches & fits almost snugly with some wiggle room. Shoulder straps at highest slot. He has about 4-5 inches leeway above his head before seat ends. Straps are easy to unbuckle on the crotch part but a bit tricky in chest area. Used our own strap cover/pad for shoulder to make it more comfy. My baby loves to sit in it. For the material, wt limit & fit the price it's worth it. It will hopefully last until his weight will be ready for a booster seat.

Only one hitch
I like this as much as our other Graco which was about $50 more. It fits in our car, and my 1.5 year old likes it. He's able to get his arms under the straps and holds up the bottom latch so I can snap him in. The only issue I have is that the chest bar slides down. It's incredibly important to keep it at a baby's chest, not their stomach. In a crash the rib cage will stop the child from moving forward, but there could be serious internal injury if the bar is at the child's stomach as well as whiplash. I have to pull the bar back up multiple times while we're driving. It isn't an issue unless I'm the only other one in the car.Overall it's comfortable, a good design and size, just be sure to pull the chest restraint up every time you put your child in the car.

Great seat
Our 18-month daughter needed a rear-facing carseat with more room than the Snugride 35 we had before. This fits the bill perfectly. She loved it the moment it came out of the box and seems to really enjoy car trips in it.It was reasonably easy to install with the LATCH system, although I had to prop up one end with some towels to get it to sit level enough. The buckles and straps are very easy to handle and adjust, and the whole thing comes apart easily in case cleaning is necessary (I know this by personal experience in a story best left untold.) The straps are plenty roomy to get a child in and out easily and quickly, even in a coat, and the straps are also really easy to loosen and tighten. We haven't been in an accident, so I can't say how well it would protect a child in that case. But from all appearances, it looks like it will do as well as anything else and better than most others.

Good seat but not very portable.
Like the seat. It seems sturdy and well constructed. The seat cushion feels soft. One improvment on the head support cushion would be a way to keep it up behind the back part of the cushion. My main complaint is the straps used to secure the seat with tethers. Tightening these is difficult. You have weigh the seat down in order to pull the tethers tight. Also, when releasing them you have to again push the seat down against the car seat to make the tethers loose. When the strap is loosened you can press in the release button and get it loose. But it requires way too much work to do this. If you are leaving the seat installed this will not be a problem.
