I actually did a little experiment to see which worked better, Jobes spikes or MiracleGro. I purchased two identical hanging baskets of petunias. They were purchased on the same day from the same store. The basket with the Jobes spikes developed gorgeous blooms and thrived beautifully. The other basket was pathetic. Finally, I put the Jobes spikes in the basket that was getting the Miracle Grow and now it is beautiful as well.
