It works
I had my first callus between toes and wasn’t sure what to do about it. I found this on Amazon and thought I’d give it a try. I placed the product over the callous and left it for three days. When I removed it, it left a white area the same size as the round product I had placed. I see why they say cut to size, my callous was only about 1/2 the size of the round cover. I wasn’t sure if I needed it to put a second one on or not, so I waited until the next day. The area was still white from the applied callus remover. Still not sure what to do, there’s no instruction that explains how or what to do at this point. I decided to try to carefully remove the entire area of white skin. I was surprised by the process, it removed the entire callous with just this one treatment. Also removed a lot of skin around callus because I didn’t cut it to size. For anyone not sure what to do after the application, I hope this helps.

Callus cushion remover
Great callus removers. They are very adhesive they stayed on my feet for three days. But the callous cushions are adhesive and they fall off after few hours.

Worked Amazingly well, but a bit scary!
I had a small bump under the ball of foot that's been causing terrible pain to walk on for months. Guess it was a callus under the skin. Anyway, I tried some generic callus cushions which worked okay to relieve the pain, but then tried the Callus Cushion version of these that adhered very well and cushioned okay. So, decided to try this Callus Remover version. I place the brown medicated disk over the spot, then the cushion goes over that, and left on for 48 hours, then repeated. Each time initially the brown disk basically seemed to disintegrate a bit on the skin and I had to scrape it off somewhat, so I didn't think it was really doing anything. Nonetheless, I kept at it and bought a second box figuring I'd give it 2 weeks. Well, when I removed the 1st disk of the second package (so 10 days in) I was shocked and a bit scared as I peeled off the cushion! Where the disk was (that I normally ended up scraping off) it actually took a few layers of skin off -- perfectly round where that disk was. I suppose that must be what is supposed to happen, but jeez, it seemed awful deep. It looked like it might not come off without a bit of pulling, so I finished pulling it off in a warm shower since the instructions did mention it may help to soak it in warm water. Once I had it off, I realized it had taken the callus/bump along with the skin patch. It seemed pretty deep, and the "new skin" underneath was very sensitive, but after a few hours it seemed to subside a lot. Now, a couple days later, it's hardly noticeable but more importantly the callus under the skin is completely gone and the foot is pain-free for walking. Thank you Dr. Scholl's! If it were ever to happen again, I wouldn't hesitate to get these right away, but would probably (and suggest to others) cut that brown medicated disk down a bit so it's closer to the size of the callus and not remove such a large area of skin.

I DON'T NORMALLY LEAVE REVIEWS, BUT THIS WORKS!!!
Long story I developed a blister from dance back in 2016. Having had minor blisters before, I paid it no mind. It eventually became calloused. Being a stubborn knuckle dragger, I again paid it no mind. It would hurt periodically, but nothing too serious, at least I thought. During a routine physical, the doc noticed some irregularities in my stance. Subconsciously, I actually changed the gait of my walk and run to accommodate the callous. I guess it was causing more issues than I thought. In 2019, I began to notice sharp pains in my foot, which forced me to walk on the outer edge of my foot, which again, caused more issues. I went to a podiatrist and was told the callous was too far developed to deal with by normal means, and that it had split open to the point of bleeding, which was the cause of the sharp pain. Their option was surgery to remove it, and stitches to close the wound. While mulling over my options, the thing that gets people sick happened and put a halt on all medical procedures for a little over a year. Entering 2021, I had to go back through the gambit of being re-evaluated for surgery and was put on a waiting list. During that time, I happened upon this product. I got it on a Friday. Used the first pad that night, and took it off Sunday Night. By Tuesday night, I noticed slight peeling off the callous. So, I waited it out. The following Friday, there was no more peeling but there was still the callous. So, I used another pad with the same 2 days on, three days off. Again, slight peeling, but no removal of the callous. So, I used the third pad. This time, I waited the two days, and after that, I took a file to the callous and noticed a lot of flaking. After that, I used the fourth and last pad, two days on, two days off. This time, after taking it off, I soaked my foot, then took a safety razor remover to it. I was a little nervous so I scraped slowly. As I did this, it seemed to literally peel off like potato skin. I kept going until I couldn't peel any more. I totally removed the callous to the point where I could see the split. Went back to the podiatrist and was told the split should heal on its own as long as I don't do anything too crazy like run and stuff. Close to 5 years of dealing with this issue and it was fixed in a little over 2 weeks. Talk about relief. I'm thinking about celebrating at Applebee's for the achievement. Nothing wrong with cheap margaritas. I will strees, removing the cushion is a bit of a hassel is you aren't that flexible, but not overtly difficult. And a bit of the active pad did snake its way into the split on the callous, that I had to take a swab with alcohol to get it out. But overall, it worked. Ibdont normally leave reviews on things because there's really nothing I can say that hasn't already been said. But this is more of a "THANK YOU" than a review. The last time I felt this much relief was when I got a chance to use a real bathroom after 10 months on a ship at sea. It's the little things that make you appreciate stuff ya know.

Not so easy
The callus I have is under my 2nd and 3rd toe. It is difficult to reach. I followed the applcation instructions. The box says the pad is good for 48 hours. My experience has been as soon as I take a shower, the pads come off.

A life saver! Highly recommended for painful calluses
I walk a LOT. I had a thick callus in the middle of the ball of my foot, below my toes. which almost came to a point in the middle of the callus area. That part became very painful to walk on. By the time this product arrived I was walking with a limp and limiting my steps. I applied the patch after a shower and my foot had dried. The gel pad was an immediate relief. It stuck well, did not peel at all. It stayed put until I peeled it off 48 hours later. At that point after a shower, I removed the pad and patch. I could see a softening of the area where the patch was and the tip of the area that was the thickest, most painful part came off with the patch. I let my foot dry and applied the next patch and gel pad. After the second set, I could see a definite separation happening, but it wasn’t ready to come off yet. So I applied the third set. After 48 hours, when I peeled off the pad and patch the callus came with it. All but the thickest spot that had come to a point came off. Some of that was left behind but it was much thinner and smaller. The new skin was a little tender so I decided to wait on the 4th patch and pad. Within one day the tenderness was gone. After a few showers more of the smaller area that was left just fell off. I’m now ready to apply the 4th set. But walking is once again pain-free. Throughout the whole process, just one day was tender, but even so it was still a relief over the pain I was in before I first applied this product. I highly recommend it. I applied three sets, one after the other, taking 6 days total. I bought two more boxes to start on my other foot and for my husband to try. Thank you Dr. Scholls!

To Thin to Cushion
The Hydrogel product is a lot thinner than the Duragel product (that they don't offer anymore. Also at the step you are supposed to place the 'bandage' over the callus, the plastic sheet is mostly opaque and you can't see if it is placed correctly over the callus. Did anyone actually test use the change, I think not.

Not as effective due to lack of adhesive
The medicated discs work perfectly well - the major downside is the gel cover pads which don’t stick to your feet long enough to keep the medicated discs on your feet - consequently you will find the pads and discs in your sock at the end of the day - for lack of a stronger adhesive the whole solution is not as effective as it otherwise could be.

These pads are excellent...I was struggling with my calluses on my foot for past 4 years....applied different products but nothing satisfied....pain was terrible while walking....I was tired....skin specialist told me to operate it...I got scared n finally found this in two applications of the pad....three fourth of the callus got peeled of n pain is zero as of now ...last layer of skin is remaining...I will apply last pad again n remove that too....thank you for this life saving product
