The only option that stands up to the use of my active son.
My little guy is really tough on shoes. He is very active and beats them up pretty well. Specifically in the front toe part. For a while with other brands we were going through shoes it seemed like once a month. Then we tried Adidas (specifically those meant for heavy outdoor use such as these Kanadias). So far they have been fantastic. They seem to have a much sturdier build than some of the other brands. Specifically in the toe. Like an extra layer or just extra thick reinforcement. And we haven't experienced any issues with the toe portion tearing or coming apart. This is his third pair. And not because the other pairs failed, just because he is growing and needed the next size up.

Good shoes, wears slowly, strong fabric
Its a lottery if you can get it below 40.The prices fluctuate a lot. May be in price range of 35-55.I hit it at lower side and I was getting good price vs performance. My kid is very rough on his shoes. He literally beats the material out of it.After 3 months of usage this summer, the shoes looks as good as when it was purchased that involves running, football, bike riding and ... well it is summerThe shoes run a bit small so try to get half size up.The sole wears slowly so I feel they will last longer than the uppers.I feel that these will be definitely good for 1 more year when I would eventually need a size up.It is a good purchase.

Great shoe, nice style, just not true to size (a tad bit larger)
My son LOVES these shoes. He loves the color, the fit, he thinks the sole is "cool."For me, the "build quality" is very good, support seems to be just fine. The only issue, if you can call it it that, is that my son, who wears a 1, has about a half size EXTRA toe space thus.. thus the shoes is bigger than a standard size 1, at least in this instance. However, he is growing, his foot is not sliding, and after wearing them 5 or 6 times, he is not complaining of a blister nor do I notice one. I will let him grow into them!

Comfortable, stylish, and perfect fit for women as well.
Great shoes! I'm usually a women's 7 or 7.5 and have trouble finding shoes to fit my style. Women's shoe colors are always limited to pink and annoying colors so I was glad to find these. I purchase the 5.5M size and they fit perfectly. They're a little bit wide which is fine because I have flat feet and usually have trouble finding shoes that allow my feet to breathe. They are also very light weigh which is perfect for running. I hate to wear bulky shoes to the track. Very happy with them, size and style wise. I would recommend them to anyone.

Shoes that will survive your rough runner
My son punishes shoes like they did something to him. Most pairs we've bought him for school have to be replaced within 6 weeks or so. This year, we decided to try trail running shoes for their sturdier construction. The Kanadia by adidas seemed to have a good reputation so we gave them a shot to start out his school year. At Christmas, they were still holding up. Then came spring and mud and multiple runs through the wash machine. Still they held up. For the first time in my son's clothing history, he outgrew a pair of shoes before he blew them out. This school year we bought another pair and we are still happy with them. For rough running kids, these Kanadia Trail Runners hold up their end of the bargain.

Look great. Fit perfectly.
Bought these shoes for my 8 year old that wears through shoes like it's his job. I'm hoping these hold up a little longer. Since he has a tendency to literally wear through soles, I liked the thicker tread on these trail runners. And they DO have a very prominent sole. The bottoms almost looking cleat-like. And while they looked bigger than his previous Nike runners, they fit perfectly. Great style. Love the colors.

Can't go wrong with these. Great for active kids
My nine year old son loves these shoes. They seemed to be reinforced at the tip which is great because sometimes he kicks rocks, soccer balls, me and what not and his old shoes started coming apart. So far it's been about two weeks and these shoes are in almost perfect conditions. I am considering buying a second pair because at this price you can't go wrong

Holding up nicely so far
I love that someone got smart with the insole of a shoe and used it to measure if your child's shoe fits or not. Maybe I'm late to the game but it was helpful. I found these to run a bit smaller than we had hoped but since kids go through shoes so quickly that we kept them. After 2 weeks of playing HARD in school and outside they have held up nicely. The tip of the toe is intact and the color still looks great. The laces are a bit slick so they come undone frequently but hopefully that will be fixed over time.
