I don't know but it's thin plastic. It seems cheaply made but my nephew loved it all the same

Q: Does this hold well to the head of a 12-year-old boy?

I think a 12 yr old boy’s head might be too large for this helmet.....I think its great for children up to about 8...maybe 9.
