Small Eco Pet Carrier Blue

I purchased this carrier to bring my cat from Korea to the US. I had a really hard time finding something that wasn't cloth (he shreds them immediately), or too big for the Air Canada specifications for a hard carrier. Finally, I found this one!It worked as well as I could have hoped! My cat had a couple freak outs (we were in transit for 20 hours, I don't blame him), and really tried hard to get out. At one point, he managed to get the carrier open a little- I had the carrier on its side, and he managed to pull down the top somehow, and it sort of popped open on one side. After that I put clips through the strap holes (got mine secondhand, no strap), and that seemed to prevent the problem a from occurring a second time. I would also recommend large binder clips if you're concerned. He also managed to break a couple of the bars, but not enough to get out. It didn't fit under the seat upright, though, I did have to turn it on its side. This seemed comfortable enough for him, though, and actually provided the benefit of him being able to see me through the side-now-top paw print vents. Seemed to calm him a little. So my only concern was that the pee pad he had in with him and shredded got white fibers all over the floor. Also if he had peed, there wouldn't have been much keeping it from getting on the floor through the bars. This could be avoided by taping up one of the side paws with some clear tape on both sides.Overall it kept him well contained, and I couldn't ask for more!Pros--Fits under an airplane seat!-Claw proof-No zippers to rip apart and escape-Sturdy-Good ventilation-Big size-Cute-Easy storageCons--Managed to get out a little once- could be avoided with binder clips-Managed to break some of the bars- still couldn't escape-Didn't fit under the seat upright, but it did on its side.-Not sturdy to put things on. Use this for carry-on purposes only, DO NOT use as a cargo or shipping carrier.Overall, this did what I needed- fit and didn't get clawed apart- and did it in style!
