my husband is checking it now. It is 14 inches from end to end and is the biggest time and knuckle saver he has ever had. 38 years as a mechanic and he has always worked around buying this tool. those are his words. He says that he wished he had purchased this years ago.

I do not know if this is going to work for Ford Ranger. If you can find out the size of tension pully nut based on model and year, and compare that with this kit- it can help you to make that decision.
