Will this work on stainless steel material?

This will work on anything that will fit under the machines rollers. However be advised that stainless steel is an extremely hard material and multiple passes may be required.

What settings are typically recommended for this? Any special tips?

I use the sketch and pen settings and i always slow the speed and up the pressure. You may need to do a multicut until you get the look you want.

will this work with portrait 3?

Yes the portrait 3 uses the same blades as the Cameo 4 so this will work.

What adapter do i need for cameo 4?

This will work in the left side of the Cameo 4 without an adapter. It was designed for the Cameo 4.
