After years of doing my nails at home with hand file and cuticle scissors, this e-file made the whole process so much faster and easier. The various "heads" seem to provide all that is needed and, with the power on "low", I had no difficulty shaping the nails and clearing off the cuticles (after pushing them back). Everything is in a nice case, it has an electric plug (didn't want anything with a replaceable battery or needing "charging"), it's easy to hold and aim. I liked the 5-year warranty and one can, in the future, purchase replacement "heads". The one thing I would have liked from this product is more instruction/advice on "best practices" for careful shaping of natural nails and proper cleaning of the "heads"; this info was not available either in the instruction booklet nor on their website. Yes, there are +++++ YouTubes for using an e-File, but these all seem to focus on dealing with acrylic nails and gel polish, nails that are long and (so someone thinks make for a) lovely manicure. I'm sure, over time, I'll develop more skill on my own. Next project is to attempt a pedicure....

First timer at this whole nail kit thing-fyi.Highly recommend the reversible feature. Didn't think it would make a difference but it sure helps!It didn't seem to get my dead skin/cuticles off at all - Which is completely the reason I bought this unit. Disappointed with that.Wishing there was a faster speed.It is definently better than using manual tools though. No sharp cutting edge marks on the fingers/cuticles.It doesn't get hot too quickly but after about 30+ minutes it gets warm. Then I stopped using it for that session.A lot of comments said the cord got tangled, but it was fine for me.Wish the light was in a better position - had to use an alternate source of light to see what I was doing.Wish there was a pointer cuticle tip to really get in the edges of the nail.Wish it had a battery option for portability.Other than that stuff I was very impressed! Good purchase!Cant wait to use again!

Easy to hold for those that need ergonomic items. It works well. Two speeds,and has a light so you can see what you are doing. I love it.

Great product! Quality is so much better than I expected. I doubt I will be going back to a nail salon when I can get the same results at home.
