Cat 8 Ethernet Cable 6FT, 40Gbps 2000MHz High Speed Network Cable

I picked up this 10-foot Vabogu Cat 8 Ethernet Cable to hook up my primary workshop computer directly into my 2.5G unmanaged network switch. When you are constantly pushing heavy data volumes across a local network, cheap unshielded Cat5 or Cat6 patch cords can easily suffer from electromagnetic interference (EMI) and cross-talk, leading to packet loss and latency spikes. This heavy-duty professional LAN cable operates with absolute stability. Why this Cat 8 cable is a top-tier networking upgrade: Premium S/FTP Double Shielding: Out of the box, you can immediately tell this cable is built to commercial-grade standards. The thick outer jacket houses individual twisted pairs wrapped in aluminum foil, backed by an overall braided shield. This massive level of isolation completely blocks out EMI from nearby power supplies, studio monitors, or workshop machinery. Flawless Multi-Gigabit Handshake: While Cat 8 is rated up to a staggering 40Gbps / 2000MHz to future-proof your setup, it handles modern multi-gig local networks perfectly. My local file transfers immediately locked into a true, unthrottled 2.5Gbps link rate, delivering maxed-out data speeds with zero connection drops. Heavy-Duty Gold-Plated RJ45 Connectors: The termination construction is exceptional. The gold-plated metal shielding around the RJ45 plugs fits tightly into the port sockets with a very reassuring mechanical click, preventing any loose play or wiggle-induced disconnects. Network Setup & Workspace Routing Tips: Manage the Bend Radius: Because this cable packs heavy-duty internal copper wires and multi-layer shielding, it is noticeably thicker and stiffer than standard flimsy patch cords. Avoid making sharp, aggressive 90-degree kinking bends behind tight desk corners; give it a gentle, gradual curve to protect the internal shielding jackets. Snagless Boot Protection: The molded rubber strain relief boot keeps the plastic retention clip from snapping off when pulling the cable through a dense bundle of cords under a desk, saving you from a ruined connector. The big takeaway: Vabogu has delivered a premium, heavily shielded network cable that entirely removes signal vulnerabilities from your local loop. The gold-plated contacts provide pristine continuity, the insulation feels industrial-grade, and the speed capabilities offer massive future-proof overhead. It is a fantastic value buy for any server rack, gaming setup, or high-volume workstation array.

I’ve been dealing with spot‑ty WiFi for a long time, especially when gaming, streaming 4K videos and working from home. WiFi would lag and drop connections randomly, so I decided to swap in a wired Cat8 cable. This Vabogu ethernet cable worked perfectly right out of the box. Plug‑and‑play, no complicated setup needed. The build quality feels really heavy‑duty. Thick shielded outer jacket, sturdy RJ45 connectors with gold‑plated pins. The connector clip locks firmly into my router, PC and game console, no loose connections or accidental disconnections. I run it partly along the wall indoors, and the cable stays flexible yet tough. My internet speed is much more stable now. No more stuttering during online games, 4K streaming loads instantly, and large‑file downloads finish way faster. Even multiple devices running at the same time don’t cause slowdowns. Great value for money, highly recommend for anyone tired of unstable Wi‑Fi.

I purchased this CAT8 Ethernet cable for my home office and gaming setup, and it's been exactly what I was looking for. The cable feels very well made with a thick, durable outer jacket that gives you confidence it's built to last. The connectors fit securely without feeling loose, and installation took just a few seconds. I'm using it with my desktop PC on a high speed internet connection, and it's provided a stable, reliable connection with no issues. Whether I'm working from home, gaming, or downloading large files, it's performed consistently without any interruptions. I also like that there are multiple length options, making it easy to find the right size for any setup. For the quality, durability, and price, I think this cable is an excellent value. If you need a dependable Ethernet cable for a gaming setup, home office, or everyday networking, I'd definitely recommend this one. Also its cat8 you know. Lol

Blazing Fast, Durable, and Reliable! I recently upgraded to these Cat 8 Ethernet cables, and the difference in speed and stability is noticeable. If you’re looking for a high-performance, durable, and future-proof network cable, this is the one to get! Speed & Performance Area: These cables are fast, reported speeds are reportable to 40Gbps, which is perfect for gaming, streaming in 4K/8K, and high-speed internet browsing, unfortunately my internet service cannot reach that but its nice to know that when I am able to afford to upgrade I will be future-proofed. I use the short cable with my PS4 and the longer one my daughter took to work to connect a copier/printer 15 feet away. Each of us have experienced tested it with my gaming PC and Xbox, a rock-solid connection with zero lag or buffering. Build Quality & Durability: These cables are much thicker than any other cables I have and this I feel make a difference in sturdiness. I am attributing it to the thicker gauge wire and the extra shielding which also helps reduce and outside signal interference as well. The site touts that the cable is both UV resistant and weatherproof making it ideal for indoor and outdoor use, although we dont use either of our cables in that environment. Compatibility & Ease of Use: The cables have worked worked flawlessly with my TP Link Wireless router, gaming console, and smart devices. My daughter has had no problems with the cable at her office with the copier/printer as well. The RJ45 connectors fit snugly and hold very well. These cables according to the listing are backward compatibility with older Ethernet standards like Cat5e and Cat6. Final Thoughts: These Cat 8 Ethernet cables are very well made and very competitively priced, and I feel they are a great value for the money. They deliver on great speed, durability, and (I am sure in the long run) reliability. If you need a future-proof networking solution, I highly recommend them.

This long Ethernet cable did exactly what I needed it to do-deliver a fast, stable, and reliable connection across the house. I use it for a home office setup, and the difference compared to Wi‑Fi was immediate: no dropouts, no lag, and much more consistent speeds during video calls and large downloads. My phone is power over Ethernet so not only a wired connection, but a Microsoft Teams phone! The cable feels well‑made and durable, even at the longer length. It was flexible enough to route along baseboards and around furniture without kinking, and the connectors fit snugly into both my router and computer. Once plugged in, it just worked—no setup, no troubleshooting. If you’re working from home, gaming, or streaming and need a dependable wired connection across a room or multiple rooms, this is a simple, affordable upgrade that makes a noticeable difference. I’d absolutely buy this again.

The cable is pretty good quality and it works well. I am using it to extend my gaming setup to bring it faster connection. I play video games in the living room which is further in proximity to where the router is located. The wifi connection my xbox has been pretty spotty, so I used the ethernet cable as a solution to bring it faster speeds directly to the device!

All I needed was maybe a cat 6 cable, but this seemed like too good of a value to pass up. The length is perfect for what I needed, and it works great!

I purchased this wire and it has been exactly what I needed for my project. It’s easy to work with, flexible enough for routing, and still holds its shape well once installed. The insulation feels solid and provides good protection, and the wire itself conducts reliably without any issues. I used it for a few different connections, and everything has been stable with no signal loss or power problems. It strips cleanly without fraying, which made installation quick and hassle-free. Overall, this is a dependable wire that gets the job done well. I would definitely recommend it for both DIY and professional use.

I put it in my home (over kill btw) but no issues faced I assume would be better use for data centers

Liked the Quality of the product. Improved Stability of speed test. Liked that it was Outdoor ready. Glad I upgraded from Cat5e to Cat8 -

Es categoria 8 y largo. muy bueno.

Experience slight improvement in speed.

Ele é bom mas comprei errado, era pra pegar só o cabo e os RJ45 com capa deles separado.
