It’s a grind....
I’ll start with the good:Attractive/classy design.Heavy build (lots of metal parts).Smooth/quiet operation.Consistent grindsBad:Poorly designed hopper traps beans along the four corners.Unbelievable ground retention (3+grams) regardless of how much you shake or *thwack*.Clumpy clumpy CLUMPY at finer grind settings.Awful static issues. For the money, I expected quite a bit more. The unit is indeed beautiful and would look good in any kitchen but I’ve never seen such bad clumping or retention issues. The grinds were indeed consistent but just weren’t suitable for espresso or Turkish. The grinds would exit like little sugar cube clumps. I tried backing off and experimenting with coarser grinds that would perhaps work with my Moka pot. Still a little clumpy but terrible static electricity issues. I returned it promptly and have returned to my $80 Capresso Infinity and have since supplemented with a wonderful Zassenhaus manual grinder for espresso.

and it’s terrific. It’s been trouble free
I’ve had this grinder a year now, and it’s terrific. It’s been trouble free, and produces a very high quality espresso grind. The parts are all metal, so it really should last. It is to be used as a dedicated espresso grinder, but it’s great at that - and small and handsome to boot! UPDATE: Two years in and I still love it.
