Best pickup I've installed yet !
I installed this pickup in my 2007 Gibson Melody Maker. Sweet sounds to my ears . Even makes for awesome distortion tone's ! Can't go wrong with this pickup . Add power and have awesome tone when you purchase this product. Worth every penny in my opinion. Been playing since I was 12 years old , be 71 in August. So I know what I want from my guitars. This pickup is just what the doctor ordered in my book . Buy this pickup, you won't regret it ! Old school sounds !

single coil P-90
I put one of these in my Epiphone Les Paul Jr. (2020) and what a great difference !!! Its beautiful clean and really growls when dirtied up. Its kind of expensive to put in a $379.00 guitar, but the difference is amazing and I feel better about it every time I play the guitar..................PEACE ................FROM COLORADO , George

Great sounding P90
It’s an excellent sounding P90. I put it into a single pickup bridge style guitar, the make/model doesn’t play a part in my review, it’s a pickup that truly allows you to change the sound/feel by just rolling back the tone knob, or the volume knob…..too my surprise. I really enjoy this P90, it’s exactly the sound I was looking for.

As a pickup Excellent! But control is atrocious!
This pickup both impressed me and let me down. Sound wise, it sounds great! I used it in my Epiphone Les Paul Junior, and the P90 it replaced sounded good enough distored but clean tones were horrible. This pickup is so much better, its clean tones are warmly bright and it retains grit under distortion too. However, having paid over 130 for this pickup I expected something nice and shiny, especially coming from Seymour Duncan. Instead I got a dog ear cover that has a ton of scratches, and the screws that came with the pickup were rusted. I had to reuse my 20 year old screw because they were in better shape than these. Truly disappointed at their quality control. Lastly, I live in an apartment high up thats prone to interference so the hum noise on my previous P90 was terrible, this Antiquity P90 was equally terrible. I tried it at my sibling's house and over there the issue is tamed a lot so I know its not that the pickup has a failure but rather they are just made that way. If I'm being honest I will probably try a different pickup just because of that. It might not be a problem in a guitar with two pickups but on a Junior its terrible. The hum is so big I can barely distinguish the notes im playing under high gain. Even though I can adjust myself to a certain angle and the hum is decreased, it will never be gone completely. So tone wise 5/5, hum wise 0/5, quality control 1/5.

Very Good Quality Pickup.
Seymour Duncan Antiquity P-90 Dog Ear Pickup really brings out the best in my Gibson replica guitar with bright and crisp sounds. Love the pickup and the sounds it produces. I plan to purchase another for one of my other guitars.

Excellent Buy
I replaced my stock ceramic dogear pickups with these and now my guitar sounds like a million bucks. My LesPaul Junior knockoff is now complete. I would strongly recommend anyone who wants to start soldering compononents to check out the videos available on the seymour duncan website.
