The safety bed rail can be used with most traditional beds with box springs or slats. It not is not intended to be used with adjustable beds or beds with extra soft mattresses.

Can the bed rail be used on beds with an adjustable base?

No, for safety reasons we do not recommend using the Bedside Sturdy Rail on adjustable beds.

On what size of mattress can I use the bed rail?

The Bedside Sturdy Rail can be used on Twin, Full, Double, Queen, King, and California King mattresses with thickness between 6 and 14 inches.

Can the bed rail be used on either side of the bed?

Yes, the Bedside Sturdy Rail can be installed on either side of the bed without any modification.

I think this is dangerous

The second night I used it I slipped into the space between my bed and this rail and had the experience of nearly suffocating. I checked with my husband and son so that they could confirm it was properly installed and it was. It's a totally unsuitable product. I won't even bother with a return in case it is unwittingly resold to another person.

This is very sturdy for him

My grandpa is 180 pounds. This is very sturdy for him. I'm glad this worked out well. I like the pockets as well, since my grandpa always loses the remote.

Expensive bars ..

Too expensive for two bars and a strap. The user manual was very confusing. Took long time to figure out installation.I do not recommend this product for this price.
