Great jacket!! Caution with sizing
Great jacket! I am 5-11 200 lb with broad shoulders. Definitely order a size up. Great design and I like the oversized Hood. Some people are giving negative remarks about the sleeves being too long but actually they are perfect especially for a tactical jacket if you're going to be doing any type of maneuvering or shooting plenty of arm room. The neck room is a little tight with the hood stowed away so I just put it in the small of back pocket. Initially I ordered extra large which was definitely too small to 2x seems to fit quite nicely. On a side note when I initiated the return the pickup and the replacement was here very quickly great job.

I do love this jacket
OK, so far, I do love this jacket. I can foresee that it will be exactly what I need for particular tasks.Let me first start off by saying that I'm 5'10" and 155 lbs. I got a small, and it's just right. One might find that the arms are a big wide; however, I do believe that's part of the design. The length is just right. In addition, the overall length of the jacket is great, especially considering I got it to wear while carrying OWB holster on right side. With that said, I like that it comes just to my waist. Also, I really like and am very glad that it's a feature, the elastic sinch on the right side is INSIDE the waist band of the jacket, and when not tightened, will remain inside. This will prevent interference with a holstered sidearm. If carrying, the chest pockets have a nice little slot on each side that fits a 17 round mag.I got this because it would be a nice, medium weight jacket. It's nice enough to wear when chilly, but seems as though there's plenty of room for layers. I did read that it's awful when wearing only short sleeves -- this is true -- solution: don't do that. I will take the under-arm zippers for heat relief any day. And it is, from what I've seen in a light rain shower, water resistant +. I have yet to fully test this jacket in either the cold or the elements though. I am writing this from my initial impressions with light testing. I can say with confidence that this jacket is going to a great addition to my field kit this fall and winter. I will update if I see differently. That update comes now --I've worn this jacket while working in a blizzard and while playing in the snow. I'm confident that with a nice mid-layer (I would recommend a Columbia Omni-heat fleece) this jacket performs spectacularly. The venting is a great option for those who will be wearing this while performing activities -- allowing the moisture to escape without allowing yourself to be too vulnerable to wind and cold. This did well with keeping off snow. The hood was helpful, too, and easy to manipulate with gloved hands.

Awesome jacket but has a couple downfalls
Awesome jacket but has a couple downfalls. No lower pockets you can put you hands in... not sure how I didn't notice that but really annoying since there's like 50 pockets on here and plenty of room for the lower pocket but there isn't any. The sleeves are pretty long unless you tighten them down once you put the jacket on then it's not a big deal but you need to do that each time you put it on. I'm a big guy, 6ft 280lbs so I got a 3xl and fits good besides the torso is a little short for my liking. It rides just at the top of my belt. Other than these few picky things about the jacket it's great. Quality material and cool features. Even though it could be better I'm overall happy with my purchase.

FATAL FLAW and Issues
Tested this in the shower to simulate HEAVY RAIN. This product failed to keep me dry. With the use of the hood, the hood compartment opened, it catches water and drains the water through the hood tightening band's grommets, releasing water over the chest area and anything below.Flawed. Do not stake your life on this jacket when trekking the great outdoors. But I suppose if it wasn't going to be the fatal flaw that is pointed out, it would have to be the unsealed zippers and the velcro wrist adjustment is 2 or more inches too short (the fuzzy side of velcro). The circumference for the wrist opening is HUGE it is about 12 inches. 12 INCHES!!! I bought a medium size!Consider this returned upon reading. You have been warned.

The real clothes does not look as good as it is in the sale picture
After three weeks or waiting, I received this jacket. I was disappointed. The colour of this jacket was good. The hood of the jacket was folded and hidden in the collar making the collar looked bulky and ugly. Then I released the hood from the collar. Under the zipper of the collar there was a decal. Together with the decals at the visor of the hood and the collar, I attached the hood with the collar. Because the hood was big, it looked like a piece of big triangular folded cloth hanging at the back. Meanwhile, we cold see a wide opening of the zipper on the collar. No matter when the hood was folded and hidden in the collar or was released from the hood. I feel that the jacket was ugly. The long line of ditches on the collar was not sewed evenly. It is not the workmanship of a CD$ 154.00 jacket should have. This jacket was good for rough wearing but is not good for fashionable outfit. After a few times of wearing, I will donate it to a charity organization.

A steal for the price point.
This is a very good option to Blackhawk or 5.11. Many features, good quality, excellent stitching.Looks really sharp, colour is good. Have only worn it briefly, but quite pleased so far.Pros: Excellent fit, look, and shape. Waterproof (after 5 minute session in shower - let's see how it stands up to a washing and Vancouver Island weather). Many pockets (see cons). Pit zips are a great feature. Construction seems rugged. I can see wearing this for many years. Friends have commented favourably. Stands up to the big boys (I think).Cons: The hood is MASSIVE. It must be designed to cover a PASGT or similar type. When folded into the collar, it looks like I've swallowed a plate.Even cinched up, its huge. Why so big? Me civilian now - I just wear ball caps. Hood is not easily fully detachable. No hand warmer pockets, but pass through pockets in the back? What the heck?Fabric is a bit noisy (but that might change with washing). Why such massive Velcro patches? I don't need to display any affiliation. Remember, me civilian now..On the whole, I am pleased.

Great jacket with multiple uses. Worth it.
A Great jacket for all weather. Multiple pockets to support your needs and a detachable hood that can be stored in the rear large pocket compartment or in the collar of the jacket although I would not recommend this since it bulks up the collar and becomes a neck brace when the jacket is zipped up fully. Patch locations if you need to attach any and Easy reach of the pit zips allow ventilation. Also four locations for Headphone cable pass through located in both sleeves and the center pockets. The ID pocket located on the left sleeve allows for small items. Added bonus is the double zipper which allows for of course being able to zip up and zip down when you’re sitting for long periods. Speaking of the double zippers it is slightly a pain when first using this jacket since it’ll take a while to get used to aligning the zippers in order to zip up. Weather now I haven’t worn this yet during the middle of a Canadian winter since it arrived late in the season last year. But I have worn this down to Celsius 5/Farenheit 41 with just a long sleeve underneath and it kept me warm but would recommend to wear a light sweater for lower temperatures.
