Bought this for my grandson’s birthday. He loves fishing and wanted an open reel like his dad. The set was packaged nicely and the zipper case makes for a great “on the go” fishing set for beginners. They have a nice selection of lures in a handy carrying case and my grandson’s eyes lit up when he saw all the accessories.Unfortunately, the pole broke on first use so I contacted the company and explained the situation. They quickly sent a replacement rod, no questions asked. So nice to see a company stand behind their product.Highly recommend this product for beginner fishing enthusiasts.

If you know a child who would like to go fishing, but has no gear....this is the kit for them! The camouflage carrying case is very streamlined and easy to carry...and very COOL! The components of the kit are very easy to assemble and are of good quality. My 9 year old nephew was so excited when he opened the box, and couldn’t wait to use it! Makes a perfect holiday or birthday gift! I’d definitely recommend this kit to anyone!

Not worth the money! Pole broke the first time we casted it in addition to the fishing line tangling upon cast. No way to contact seller for replacement. Worth maybe $10, not $50.

Outstanding product. Just what I needed for my child (and myself).It is shipped in a well-designed package for convent storage and transportation. The rod is well made and offers both compact size and flexibility. The winning point is the weight as it is easy on the arm and should allow my children to enjoy it.Thank you for the excellent product.

Easy to work for my 7 year old

This fishing pole is great for beginners and kids. The pole is very sturdy and the reel is super smooth. It’s super light weight and easy for traveling with, super awesome caring case and come with little fishing box that comes with hooks, weights and bait and we even got a free e book too.

The set comes with everything my son needed - but I expected a nicer storage bag/tackle box for the elevated price of this set. The rod didn't seem like anything special (compared to the $25 ones we've gotten on amazon previously) and while it did the job, I wouldn't pay $50 for it again.

It goes without saying this probably won't catch a 50lb pike but for getting your kids/ someone younger into fishing it's more than enough with amazing quality and plenty to learn and fish with.

Took my son for his first time fishing nice smooth water no rock didn’t even last 5 mins and the rod snapped first small fish he caught ruined his experience

Not worth the money paid. The rod snapped within 10 minutes while my lad was setting it up . Disappointed

It was not what I wanted as my child older and this is for small child
