PureWater Filters KQ8 Water Filter Kit for Keurig Commercial Brewers

I've had many Kuerigs over the years and the biggest pain in the neck is constantly filling a reservoir. I splurged for a commercial Kuerig coffee maker 2 years ago and installed this kit. It works flawlessly, no leaks, and I never think about the water because it's always on and its filtered, not just straight tap water.. It's just one little annoyance removed from my life. Highly recommend.

Exact fit for my Keurig B150

Easy to install. I already had the water line in place. After descaling my coffee pot and adding this filter and can see a noticeable difference in the clarity of the water and the taste of the coffee.

Installation was straight forward, but adapters need to be purchased unless you have 3/8" compression fittings on your icemaker line. I have all 1/4" fittings. The simple solution was to purchase a 1/4" three way T compression fitting and a one foot long 1/4" line from my local Ace Hardware store. The T fitting replaced the plastic 3/8" unit included with the filter and worked perfectly for the 1/4" plastic feed line included with the filter kit. The one foot line goes from the water valve on the wall to the T fitting. Just be aware that Amazon sells several brass T fittings, but they are all Chinese origin and contain lead. The fitting I purchased from Ace is lead free. I only rated four stars due to the kit being incomplete in lacking 1/4" fittings. Otherwise, I can't wait to use my Kuerig without having to fill it up with water every day! Also no reservoir to clean.

EASY to install and the filter is a promise that the machine will last longer. So great to know it is filtering out anything you don't want in the coffee.

The kit comes with everything you need, which is great. It was easy to install and follow the directions. The splitters work well. All of the 1/4 hose connectors are pressure fits that require some strength to ensure a good fit. If these fittings are out under lateral pressure due to too much or too little hose, they will slightly leak. There is ample hose provided to place the coffee maker just about anywhere on your countertop. The hose from the filter to the unit is also amply long and likely will need to be cut. While not in the instructions, I did add plumbers tape to each of the threaded connections.
