Waste of money for functionality that doesn't work
First bin arrived which I put some AA batteries in to to get it working. At the start worked fine, Then it stopped working after 24 hours. Bought brand new batteries and the lid then only opened half way.Ordered a replacement which came quickly. Had the audacity to open the bid once in the traditional method (pulling the lid open) and then it never worked again. Waste of money for functionality that doesn't work.On a functional bin front, the top lip of the bin protrudes slightly inwards so it catches quite a lot when you are removing a fully packed bin. Very annoying

Payed £70 no longer works!
My mum fell in love with this bin and loved it when it arrived and still loved it when it worked. After about a month the sensor no longer works. Replaced batteries several times and still doesn’t work!! Very disappointing!!! Especially after paying £70 for a bin that no longer works after a month!! Don’t buy!

POOR QUALITY, FLIMSY, originally £149??????
Original RRP of £149 (yes, I know!!! What a bin that must be!!!!!) offered at a bargain price of £54.95 (yeah!!!!!).The quality is POOR, flimsy lid, not a sturdy main metal body, NO interior bin (so forces user to have a bin liner - not very eco friendly these days!!! Aground disappointing - I do my see ANY WAY this bin is worth £54.95, and I especially question the original £149 RRP. Unless there is a gold nugget taped to the box, it’s a poor buy.

Mixed feelings
Ok so it looks great... day 1 amazing!! Best bin in the world!! This was sadly short lived. Turns out it’s not very practical.... the lid isn’t open long enough to scrape a plate off so it closes onto your dirty plate, then you’ve got to wait for the sensor to reopen it... now with 4 sometimes 5 plates to scrape off plus pots etc you can imagine this gets a little frustrating. sometimes it’s fast to open sometimes not so fast it also within a day or so id say it started opening just half as wide as it should even with brand new batteries.... by day 5 It was far more frustrating to have the automatic lid than to not. so now it’s turned off and I open it myself by the corner of the lid. Quite easily. It’s quite a flimsy bin too it’s already got a big dent in the front and I have no idea how it’s happens just a few weeks old... changing the bag also seems like more hassle than with my previous bins. So if you have the patience of a saint and handle it with care perfect but for a family I’d say probably not.

You don't get what you paid for!
I was fortunate enough to purchase this bin in the sale for £69.99, however, even that is too expensive. For a bin priced around the £150 mark it is way over priced and the quality is poor. The colour is ok and if you are buying a bin purely on appearances then this is for you.The container itself is a metal/tin material. It easily dents and doesn't quite slot into the lid, you have to force it.The lid is plastic. The rose gold is nice but more copper and just looks cheap. The delivery driver decided to throw the box into my neighbours garden and whilst this isn't the products fault it has shown that the lid marks and scratches. So disappointed.
