Makita 199553-5 Cyclonic Vacuum Attachment

My husband loves it, everything acumulated into this attachment so made it easy to clean too. Need to buy another one for my other family who has Matita's vacuum too.

Voilà qui change mon aspirateur Makita complètement ! Il y a deux sorte de filtres dans ces aspirateurs balais : un qui se nettoie à peu près facilement et l’autre que j’ai avec un sac en tissus difficile à nettoyer et qui quand il ne l’est pas diminue de beaucoup la succion. Mais avec cet accessoire on modifie cet aspirateur : Il devient cyclonique (j’ai enfin compris pourquoi les fameux aspirateur de ce genre coûtent si cher !) !!! Plus de nettoyage de filtre continuel et surtout : une aspiration démultipliée qui permet d’aspirer des déchets plus gros facilement (je m’en sert beaucoup pour aspirer les grains de la litière de ma chatte en permanence), ses longs poils et mes cheveux ne colmatent plus le filtre, et vider le réservoir est un vrai charme contrairement au dévissage pour vider le réservoir de l’aspirateur lui-même qui est plus compliqué et fait parfois des dégâts. Pas besoin de dévisser, il suffit d’appuyer sur les clamps noirs de chaque côté pour le retirer et le vider. Plus de filtre à brosser et à laver sauf quand on voit qu’il n’est plus très propre à travers le plastique ce qui n’était pas possible quand la poussière se retrouvait dans son compartiment. J’ai déjà commenté l’aspirateur lui-même qui est un vrai petit compagnon de tous les jours et qui me permet très facilement de garder mon espace de vie propre à tout moment. Celui-ci après la douzaine d’aspirateurs sans fil de marques différentes achetés et jetés après un an ou deux à cause de la pile qui était finie et non remplaçable est vraiment un plus dans une maison ou un atelier surtout si vous avez d’autres outils Makita et donc d’autres piles disponibles. J’en profite pour signaler que Makita fait un support mural pour le suspendre et que c’est bien dommage qu’Amazon ne le vende pas. Vous pouvez le trouver sur le site de Makita.

An absolute must for either 18v or 40v Makita stick vacuums that are cordless. It's is built like a tank, doesn't add too much weight, is easy to use and install as like any other nozzle it is plug and play, and the 5 inches or so of extra length actually help you to stand up straighter when using the vacuum rather than hunch over slightly like with the stock vacuum. It allows for quick cleanups as it efficiently maintains a vacuum because of keeping the filter clean, thus the speed at which you can move the roller head is actually quicker as well. I've even used this with other plug in vacuums as well when alot of fine dust that could clog filters normally is going to be sucked up, but it is designed to be used on Makita cordless stick vacuums. I swear it improves battery life as well, even though the vacuum has to work slightly harder, it isn't starved for air because of a clogged filter.

Using the Makita handheld vacuum cleaner on its own puts a lot of strain on the cloth filter it has, requiring frequent emptying and cleaning, which isn't that quick to do - especially if you also need to wash it, as then you'll have to wait for the cloth to dry out. This attachment collects almost ALL the dust and debris before it gets to the cloth filter, drastically reducing the amount of clogging and reduction in suction that would happen if you only used the cloth filter that's inside the vacuum cleaner body, and because this cyclonic filter is 100% non-porous plastic - cleaning it with or without also washing it takes seconds, and instead of waiting hours for it to dry, as you have to do with the cloth filter - this plastic cyclonic filter can be simply dried out in seconds using a paper towel. I highly recommend getting it if you have it about to get the Makita cordless handheld vacuum cleaner - just be aware that this specific cyclonic filter attachment only works for the Makita vacuum models where the extension hose connects using friction only, as there's a different cyclonic attachment model that is designed to work with Makita vacuums that have the extension hose connect and hold in place using a latch mechanism.

A must have accessory if you own or planning to buy the Makita Cordless Vacuum. It seamlessly attaches to the vacuum and the cyclone action makes gathering the debris easy and clean. Disposing the debris is easy due to easy snap function to open the bin. Best part is that most of the debris is collected in the cyclonic bin before it makes it to the main canister thus reducing how often you need to empty the main canister and clean your filter, while also prolonging life of the filter. Works really well on pet hair as well. Attaching it does make the vacuum heavy but the added functionality is totally worth it. Very highly recommended.
