The service was good despite the fact that the phone switches off on its own. i think the battery in not properly secured it needs a memory card or something bellow i am still trying to figure out

The phone is very nice... that is if you can find a good battery for it. Ones that are available are very weak, so the phone cannot be used.

I used that potable for 7 years very good for what i do, called and sms. Small and easy to use. I recommanded it.

I HAD ONE PREVIOUSLY, FOR OVER 15 YEARS, BOUGHT A FLIP PHONE, AND SORRY BUT HATED IT, DROPPED IT SEVERAL TIMES TRYING TO OPEN IT, BUT 71 YO, SO WANTED A NOKIA AND YOU HAD IT!THANKS AGAIN.

This product did not meet up my expectation in Europe, so I do not recommend it to any one at all, it a bad business.

I've had this cellphone since 2006 and it's always been working reliably, in spite of being dropped many times on all kinds of surfaces. Battery usually lasts about a week. Maintenance? Repairs? The battery was replaced once, that's all.The 6230 has all you need: You can make and receive calls, write SMS and take photos that aren't too good but then, I have cameras for that. No-hassle setup, foolproof menu, big and bright enough screen to see what you're doing.My latest Nokia (C2-02) is bulkier, the touchscreen is tricky to use, there's too much stuff which I'd rather do on a big screen on my computer. So if you want a smartphone spend these 200 - 700+ bucks. I'm back to my old 6230i which is probably not going to die before 2020.
