This thing can operate the hoover dam
I own a 77 camaro 350 small block semi stock (edelbrock top end). I had the original 4 blade fan on, and experienced rather hot temps in crawl traffic, almost waiting for a hissing noise!! (fans are only 1 component of cooling i know!). It fit nice and snug around the nose and bolts holes lined up perfect. After firing it up (bonnet open) - the rush of wind was so much more than the old 4 blade that a bunch of leaves that had been hiding somewhere blew all over my windshield off the back of the car!! (i hadnt parked under trees for weeks) - THIS THING REALLY PUSHES ALOT OF AIR!!Im am totally chuffed with the primary function (air displacement). My axle ratio is too bum (2.73) to try and notice the alleged HP gains, but ito air displacement - all i can say is wow. Looking fwd to running at lower temps now! Got a deal for under 30 bucks and shipping was fast although this is a PRODUCT REVIEW - not a shipping one :)Buy one, pop it in and smile. Blue aint my fav but who cares - its under the hood right?

surprised
first of all I was shocked to find classic car parts on Amazon for my 1979 Camaro, but what really impressed me was that this item was cheaper then Summit,Jeggs and also cheaper then the junk made overseas sold by local auto parts retailers.this product is made in America and was so easy to install,it took about 35 minutes.the instructions were very simple any novice can replace this.I avoided local high sales tax and got free shipping and I ordered it on black friday and recieved it the following week on wednesday!very fast and I am very happy with my Amazon purchase.this fan is also considerably lighter then OEM with a higher rpm rating of 10,000rpm as oppose to the oem of 8000rpm.before you order from Jeggs,Summit,Classic car industries check Amazon!

Excellent fan. I've been using it on my 70 Chevelle since last summer and noticed the engine temp. dropped by several degrees. I needed one for those really slow summer car cruise-ins downtown, it did the trick. After installing it, for good measure I had my original radiator cleaned/hot tanked, & flushed at the local radiator shop (fan and radiator serviced all for uround $150.00); then there was no need to buy another expensive aluminum radiator. Everything running nice and cool. Highly recommend.

Doesn't really pull air like a stock fan
Perfect for hot rodding, not as heavy as a stock fan , will decently save my water pump

Fits as expected. Works as expected.
Fits as expected. Works as expected. Wish they would just use black paint though. My old fan was a 7 blade flex and was quite noisey. I put this on to reduce the noise. It is less noisy although still a little more noise then I would like. The car really should have a clutch fan (which would be a lot quieter) but there's not room to fit one so this is what I used.

Did not fit
The blade looks good and it built well. I bought this for my dad's bday gift. He finally got around to installing it and the blade does not fit the 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang he has. Although the sizing stated it would fit. If it had fit I would say 5 stars just based on the look and quality. Is there a smaller version of this fan I could get and return the other? Sorry if this seems like an odd question, but I am not a car guy.

I bought this flex fan to replace a race type flex fan. I installed it on my 1968 Dodge Coronet with a 440 motor and my engine is now running right around 180 idling and cooler when I am moving and rolling down the road. Before the new fan my car would overheat in a matter of minutes and was undriveable if I had to stop and go at all.
