can it be horizontal slider installation?

I have two that I use in the slider window casing.. I cut a piece of ply to fit above and around the unit then put boards in the window sliding part to keep anyone out.. the ply needs to be flexible so you can bend it.. works fine..

Will this AC fit a 15 inches wide window

window should be 15 inches for the height minimum! anything smaller it won't fit, the width I wouldn't go below 25 inches the sides of the ac stick put I have a 25 inch window and it bearly fit , so I would say 18"H 25"W/L are the absolute smallest you can go to be safe
