Great Way to Carry Your Phone
I was looking for an easy way to carry my iphone 4s without putting it in my pocket (it falls out when I sit down) or my purse (which I don't always carry). I tried the armband, and that works, but it can't be worn with a blazer, sweater or some blouses. This works with whatever you decide to wear and wherever you decide to go - the gym, work, etc. Some reviewers have complained that it swings a lot when walking, but I've found that how much it swings depends on how you adjust the length of the lanyard. If you lengthen the lanyard so that the phone is closer to your waist, it will tend to swing a lot. If you shorten the lanyard, it will not swing much at all. You can shorten it quite a bit and still be able to look at it and use the touch screen easily. The ear buds are fine, and the sound is quite clear. The built-in mike works well, and my friends say that they can hear me very clearly. The design of the piece that latches into the charging slot is quite clever. It has two small "arms" that open once the connector is put into the charging slot. It's a very secure hold, and it's not coming out accidentally. I wear this when I go walking, shopping, and when I am moving around the house. And it's never come off. It's great when I am traveling and have to carry luggage - I don't have to worry about where the phone is, and it's easy to turn off and on per airline regulations. So far the cords are holding up well, Only time will tell if the clasp that shortens and lengthens the lanyard will wear out. I also use this for my ipod nano as well as the phone.I also thought that if I wore it in public, some people might think that a little strange. Turns out that no one cares or comments on the fact that I am wearing the phone. The only comments I have gotten so far are from people who want to know where they can get one. This has been especially true for other travelers. If you don't mind wearing your phone (or your ipod), this is a great device.

Good idea
While I love this so I don't have cords all over the place, I think it should last more than 6 months before the wires start to cause crackling in the music. But that's just me.

It is an awesome thingy !! I use my ihangy at work and it stays inside my coat within reach . I can hear texts, calls or listen to my music without having to gig for it in my pockets . And my biggest worry was for naught because it is safer on my Ihangy than it is in my hands

Some people may like it others will not
I have very mixed feelings about this product. First of all I'll say that it is intended to be innovative and make your listening pleasure hands free and hence worry free. Not sure if I would want to use my phone on this on my commute. I found that the sound from the speakers was nothing special so I use it for sports talk or talk radio. I use it to walk with my dogs but find it a bit of a hassle to hook everything up and get it placed comfortably so as to not interfere with your walk. The problem is that it does. When I get a moderate to fast pace walk going the I-Pod begins bouncing back and forth on my chest. Forget jogging. Since I'm a man this is not a major problem as I assume it would be a little more annoying to a woman to have it bouncing on her chest. I came up with a solution. I put in on so the player is on my back, between my shoulders. Also I place it under a layer of clothing to secure it even more. I find that it is best for activities that involve not to much movement. I use it when I work in the garden but again under my shirt as it can be dangerous when using equipment outdoors. It's perfect for doing things like watering plants in the garden since little movement is involved. I cannot honestly give it a glowing endorsement so I will let you be the judge. There are many other ways to listen to your music that is less cumbersome. I've had various people of different ages try it out and the response is useful for older people that may be less than mobile, pretty cool for walking to just a dumb idea. It's ok but limited in usefulness compared to alternatives.

Secure Hold
When I was offered the iHangy for review, I told Ontrion I wasn't keen on having my iPhone hanging around my neck. They sent it anyway. Gutsy move. I thought, here's a company that believes in its product. So, I've been using it on my daily walks.I was a little self-conscious, at first, but now I don't feel as ridiculous as I imagined. The phone attaches via the charging port, but it's secure. I haven't had any accidental releases that I imagined would happen. In fact, sometimes I forget it's not a charging cord and just try to yank it out. It doesn't come off unless I simultaneously squeeze the release buttons on the side. The attached ear buds are metal, which means I can wipe them off with alcohol. They don't slip out, but I get a better fit with other types of ear buds. These don't block ambient noise, if I keep the volume down. I like that, since I'm walking and I want to hear the car coming before it hits me.The ear buds connect via auxiliary port, so I don't have to bother with Bluetooth. I get crisp and clear music in stereo with my iPhone 4S. It lacks a little in warmth but it's not bad at all. The average listener would not find have any issues with it.Although I'm still not a fan of wearing my phone on a lanyard, I like the iHangy more than I thought I would. It allows me quick access to the phone and a great thing to have when I don't have pockets. I wouldn't recommend it for the gym or jogging, since the phone swings around and is likely to be bumped or get in the way. It's best used for walking. If you want to wear your phone, this works quite well. The mount is secure and the sound quality good. It's a convenient way to keep a phone handy without a wallet. This product was provided for review by Ontrion.

great
I love having lanyards so I don't have to hold my ipod in my hand, and the pause function on the headphone strap is great.
