How big are these blocks? I see comments where some say they have to cut it because its too big?

I'm not home right now, but I'd say they're approx 1" x 1" square. I bought the little holders that they fit into perfectly so that my cats couldn't get at the block. I've not had a single mouse in nearly two years since using these, and I live way out in the boonies where there are critters galore.

Does this bait have to be placed in a trap or can it be scattered? I have no pets.

If I didn’t have pets I’d be tempted to just toss a block here and there. However it’s really not a good idea. I use the little black bait cases you can buy separately. I have them in cupboards where there are dishes, pots & pans, etc. and I’d be afraid loose particles might get on my dishes. I live in a very rural and heavily wooded area and haven’t had a single mouse or rat ever since putting this bait in place several years ago.

Will this work on rabbits as well?

Never tried it on rabbits but I do know that squirrels ate some and nothing happened to them.
