SAMSUNG 25W Wall Charger USB C Adapter, Super Fast Charging Block for Galaxy Phones and Devices, Cable Not Included, 2021, US Version, Black

I really want to give this three or four stars instead of five, because I'm desperate for a charging block that works with all my Samsung devices, but is a little more narrow, or a little flatter against the wall, and has the USB hole on the side instead of the back. But I can't find anything that meets those criteria. Much less charges it quickly. So, this official Samsung block actually charges very quickly, to both of our Samsung phones and our Samsung tablet. I'll be honest I had been using my old Motorola chargers, but they're finicky and don't work with Samsung so well. I can't explain the science on that, but it made me seek out official Samsung blocks. I can't hold against this block it's shape or its size, I can't dock at stars because it's exactly what it represents on the description. So me wanting to take away a star or two is simply because of my own hopes and expectations for what I can find. That wouldn't be fair though. This block is exactly how it is presented, and it works great. So I really have no choice but to give it the five stars. And for that matter, especially considering it's an official Samsung charger, it's super well priced. I was surprised about that. So I purchased two separate orders over the last month, for a total of four. And I'll probably get more soon. Cheers!

All Pros, no cons. Kudos, Samsung! Fast, reliable charging for new Samsung S23+. Phone reaches full charge from 12% battery according to Samsung's specifications for both the phone and for the charger. I purchased this Samsung 25W charger because my new cell phone did not come with a charger block.... I am displeased with Samsung for trying to save money while driving up consumer financial burden. The cell phone was plenty expensive and charger blocks aren't so expensive to manufacture. Slender profile allows plenty of room on power strip. Fits well in my purse for traveling. Prongs seem very securely secured inside the charger body. (Prongs from knockoff brands have fallen out after just a bit of use - charger don't work very well if there's only 1 prong to insert into electrical outlet...) Placement of the USB-C port is very convenient, on the end of the charger block vs on the side. I'd also bought an Anker brand charger for less money. Backup chargers are good to have. So far I haven't tried the Anker device because the Samsung one works so well.

Wish it was included in the box, but other than that, this charger is great. I see a lot of people complaining that it doesn't charge at 25w, and they are using batter apps to justify their claims. Obviously, these people don't understand how chargers work. You will not got 25w speed 100% of the time. The charger slows down to protect your battery. Also, apps are completely innacurate anyways. For the charger nerds like me, this is actually a pretty capable device. It supports power delivery at 5v 3a, and at 9v 2.25a. Also it's a PPS meaning it can actively adjust the charge rate. It supports 3.3-5.9v at 3a, and 3.3-11v at 2.25a. In practice, and with real, physical, electrical measurements that aren't from an app, I can confirm these rated specifications. It is just a 25w charger, so you won't be charging a big hefty laptop at the speed of light or anything, but this brick will charge your samsung phone with "Super Fast Charging", and will charge the majority of normal consumer phones and tablets with ease. - Written while Super Fast Charging my S21 Ultra :)

I have the Samsung Galaxy S22. It, as well as other cell phones calls for a 25W charger. If you buy a non-Samsung brand you want to look for the following features: PD (Power Delivery), PPS (Power Programming Supply) compatible, and QC (Quick Charge) at least 3.0. QC 4.0+ is backwards compatible to 3.0. Power Delivery is a handshaking protocol where the device and charger communicate and determine the optimal charging rate. Also, the latest iteration of PD, Power Delivery 3.0, enables a feature called Programmable Power Supply which further enhances the efficiency of power delivery without sacrificing your batteries' longevity. I believe it also keeps the phone from overheating while charging. If you buy a 25W Samsung charger you don't have to worry about the prior info. It's all built into their charger. If you want a smaller charger search for GaN charger. Gallium nitride charger allows for smaller chips, creating a charger small enough to keep in your pant pocket. The last piece in the puzzle is a high-quality USB-C cable. For charging beyond 60W, you’ll need to make sure you’re using an electronically marked, or eMarked, USB-C Power Delivery cable. This is important to keep in mind when charging larger devices such as laptops. You will also find that USB C charges faster than USB A. The reason is USB-C 3.0 cables are designed to carry more power than previous versions of USB, which maxed out at 7.5W. This is a working 25W charger from Samsung that does great charging my phone with the Super Fast Charging popup

Now I'm not entirely sure if it is the USB to typeC adapter that came with my galaxy S10 which I'm currently using to charge my phone that is slowing it down but this same cord plugged into my old Samsung brick charged much faster! Now sure I could test it with the 2ft typeC-typeC card that came with my phone if I felt like sitting on the floor next to the wall lol but nobody wants to do that so I'm using my old 6ft cord which charges very fast and unfortunately I wasn't aware this was a typeC to typeC brick or I wouldn't have bought it though I figured I've already got it so WHT not make the most of it and I remembered having the adapter from my old galaxy and so I was able to make both ends of this cable typeC but it just doesn't seem to charge at a 20w or 25w rate that my S21FE charges at so for now this brick is a paper weight and I will go back to using my old standard Samsung USB brick... EDIT: Well, I have since ordered longer usb-c to usb-c cables and as soon as I plugged one in to my galaxy S21FE it actually made a different noise I hadn't heard before and it did light up a different color also indicates "SUPER FAST CHARGING" so I have to revise my review and add a couple more stars, I have yet to actually time it to see if it is charging faster and by how much but im assuming if the phone says that it is super fast charging that it certainly must be right? 🤷‍♂️🤔

Recently got the Galaxy S21 and if you have one then you know it doesn't include the plug in the box anymore. And to make things more difficult the charging cord included is USB Type C to USB Type C, so your old charger from your old Galaxy won't connect to it. Sure you can use the Type C Charger that came with your last Galaxy and if your last phone supports Fast Charging then you'll get Fast Charging still. But if you want to use the "Super Fast Charging" then you'll have to buy this plug and use the cable that came with your phone. Getting this plug was worth it because I use my phone ALOT so having a charged up phone is a MUST for me. And the faster I can receive a full charge, the better. I can completely charge my phone to 100% in less than 30-45 mins. Depending on how low my battery was at the time I plugged in. If your debating on buying this id say go ahead and go for it. Because once you have this plug you won't want to use any other type of plug. I take mine with my everywhere, just in case I need to charge up!!
