Baking in smaller numbers
I love desserts but making a whole cake or 36 cookies for only 2 people can "settle on you" pretty quick. This book has recipes for smaller volumes which is good for us. Most are in a quantity of 6 which is great for a couple/few days of eating and then it is gone and you can make something else a few days later. The variety is good. Lemon Meringue Cupcakes, Brioche hamburger buns, Shortbread with caramel and chocolate, Parmesan Rosemary and Olive Focaccia bread, and Mini bacon and cheese quiches just to name a few with other great options as well. Almost every recipe has me thinking "oh, I want to make that". And I will be starting with the Shortbread this weekend.

Perfect for 2-3 people
I love sweets and I love baking but I don't love the guilt of having to consume extra calories in order to not waste food because of having to make a full batch. This book fixes that. I have a household of three and this book has recipes that will satisfy that sweet tooth with the perfect batch serving sizes.

Perfect for two
The portions are great for 2 to 4 people. It took the math and guess work out for me and made it easy. I wish it as options to use store bought crusts and ten add to it. Sometimes I don't want to make my own. Overall pleased with the recipes and book.

No Classic recipes.
Not what I was expecting at all. The cover photo caught my eye- who doesn't want to back just enough Cinnamon Rolls for 1 or 2 people? Trouble is there are NO CLASSIC, BASIC anything! All these recipes are a variation on the original. Not a "bad" thing but not good either. I'm starting my life as a single person all over again. I want classic cookies, cakes, breads. I did read through hte authors insights on backing small batches and found the tips helpful but I sent this back.

A great cookbook for those that need easy smaller batches
This book has some very good recipes in it. I love that I don't have to make a huge batch and freeze items all the time. The recipes are not overly complicated and that is a win also .

great little cookbook
I love this cookbook with smaller recipes for less people. Not as much leftover which leads to overeating or sweets too many days in a row. Else you wind up tossing some and wasting not only ingredients but money. I highly recommend this cookbook for anyone with a sweet tooth.

No pictures for most recipes
Hardly any pictures at all. Even black/white photos would be better than nothing.
