Yes this was a bit on the pricey side for a plastic hamper, but I was surprised how good it looks - not at all 'cheap and nasty'. It's lightweight but very sturdy and just the right size and shape to fit in a corner, and a lovely subtle colour and nice design. Should last a a good while and not get tatty-looking like a lot of basket-work ones do after a few years use.

Bit pricey for a bit of moulded plastic. But as far as wash baskets go (which are pretty essential if your not a tramp), these are practical good looking and don’t harbour smell like a canvas style laundry bag etc. also sturdy having two kids that love climbing on everything.

Wasn't sure what the colour would come like, some reviewers said it's more blue than grey and others the opposite.Personally I could see it working in both.Good structure and capacity.Very light.Better than a flimsy wicker one.

I'd bought this laundry basket for my father after sourcing and comparing numerous baskets. I was initially put off by the price due to being in Europe but was extremely glad I bought it. Perfect slim size, beautiful colour, very sturdy, easy to lift and most of all extremely light when full of clothes. Needless to say I will be ordering one for myself when they have restocked. Definitely good buy.

The hamper itself is fine, but why does it need to be shipped with the handles tightly wrapped in a dirty flaky ultra-sticky tape which is hard to remove, keeps splitting off in tiny pieces and leaves the handles coated in glue and dirt?
