I have a Toshiba C55-B5270. My laptop is a few years old, and I did not want to spend any more money on it. But my old battery is dead and won't take a charge at all. I got tired of having to enter the system time and date every time I power it up. I have looked for a replacement battery on and off for months. I saw many replacements with various prices with all kinds of marketing claims and reviews. After reading so many reviews, I have learned one thing. Make sure your power supply is functional. A defective power supply will kill the new battery. My computer's original battery is a model PA5185U-1BRS, 14.8V, 2800mAh. The specs for this battery looked close enough. When I purchased this, there were no reviews. I took a chance on this. What sold me was that the battery has a 24 month Warranty. I also protected myself by picking the "Fullfillment by Amazon" in case I have to return it within 30 days. I have been using the battery for 2 weeks. The battery came with an almost full charge, around 80% or so, I tried to drained it to 2% on first use per instructions, but my laptop auto shutoff before it reached 2%. I then charged it to 100% and use as normal. The battery has been working fine for me. I did about 3 complete charge cycles in these last 2 weeks.If the battery quits before the 2 years, I will come back and update. BTW, I paid the full regular price for this battery. I got this for a friends Toshiba laptop that was not charging unless the computer was off (i.e. couldn't be using the computer while it charged) and was taking forever to charge. Thinking it was the battery, I ordered this for him. It fit and operated perfectly, but was not them problem, or at least not the whole problem. I also ordered him a new power supply unit and that fixed his problem. Since then, with this new battery, he notices he has a lot more run time when charged and can charge the laptop while using it. Price was right.

The first battery I was shipped didn't work with my laptop, didn't provide voltage to the EPROM and I had to reset the time and date every time I booted the computer. It was replaced within the regular return period. The replacement didn't last 6 months before it wouldn't hold a charge. I followed standard best discharge and charging practices. They are replacing the 2nd battery but say it won't be covered by the 2-year warranty period. I was told the replacement was shipped from an Amazon warehouse but also told after that, that I could choose a refund. The support has been decent to work with and seems willing to make the situation right. Based on others similar experience with battery life I would say their products are sub-standard, not worth the two year warranty that they won't honor beyond the first warranty replacement which is not sufficient if the battery won't last 6 months. I will not order from them again. In the ended they refunded my original purchase price.

Hice la compra de esta batería para reemplazar la original de mi dynabook-toshiba Satellite L45-B4182SM y funciono bien al conectarla a mi laptop, la empece a cargar cuando llego al 10% y la desconecte cuando llego al 100% utilizandola para ver youtube y navegar por internet me duro tan solo 3 horas con el brillo de pantalla al 50%. Por lo general utilizo mi laptop conectada a la red eléctrica asique no es un inconveniente muy grande para mi que se descargue tan rápido pero pienso que si utilizas tu laptop por periodos de tiempo prolongados sin poder conectarla a la red eléctrica deberias comprar otro modelo de batería de mayor capacidad. Por 20 dolares me parece buena opción. Tendría que esperar algunos meses a ver si no se degrada la batería ya que solo la he utilizado por 2 días.

The battery was great for the first four months, but now it crashes after 30 minutes of use.waiting on reply from seller to find out what i need to do and who to contact for the 2 year warranty since the return window has expired.
