Beautiful and shiny
This is a pretty compact that is shiny and nicely sized. The engraving is well done and the mirror is crisp and clear, unlike some cheaper compact mirrors that have a foggy appearance. The latch is easy to press and the compact opens smoothly. I am looking forward to gifting this to my mother.My compact came with a couple sets of inexpensive yet cute stud earrings in plastic baggies.

Appropriate engraving
My mom said this was a lovely compact but was confused by the engraving. Since there was no gift card she wondered about, the pause....The inscription was supposed t be " I Love you Mom"She reported that it read "I love you Mom"This made her wonder if it was a post mortem sentiment arranged by her deceased mother....Take this as you will...

Pretty compact gift mirror
A pretty gold compact mirror with ‘Remember I love you Mom’ engraved in white or light lettering - and a little heart beside Mom. Very sweet mirror. And the perfect little pick-me-up gift for my mom.There is a gift box with it with the felt drawstring bag to hold the mirror. I wish the gift box were a little prettier but it’s not bad. It’s a regular black box that also has a slide-over cover to that with the company logo. The drawstring bag is black with pink pull ties and the company logo on it. The box is rather plain for such a pretty mirror. I’d rather give up the two earring studs for a prettier box, but the little studs were a cute surprise (though the Amazon ad copy mentions the studs, I completely missed that so was surprised at their inclusion).Protective film covers the mirror so it won’t be scratched or marred.The mirror is not as small as I thought so it’s a little more substantial, and that’s good. There’s two mirrors inside the compact. What a good idea it would have been to have a place to put a photo on one side—one of Mom and me—but it’s still a nice mirror.My mom doesn’t have pierced ears, but I do. These little studs are tiny but they’re cute—one pair is just tiny round silver balls, and the other pair is a diamond look.I can’t decide of almost $25 for this is reasonable or a little much considering the gift box isn’t as nice as I’d wish.My mom will smile when she opens it so that makes me happy.I hope my review helped you today.
