Everything you'd want from an Initial-D plate
This plate is the correct size and spacing, an excellent copy of the original it represents and looks great on my garage wall next to other genuine USA plates. Any fan of Initial-D will love this and 13-954 will mean something to them. I like a bit of age and weathering on my plates but short of driving around with it for a few hundred thousand miles you won't get that effect with one of these. Even without some ageing it still it looks great next to my Vanishing Point plate and the plate from Steve's Corvette in the original 90210.

Best gift ever...
I bought this for my 19 year old son, he's a huge initial D fan (I on the other hand had never heard of it until he mentioned it) Bought it as a stocking filler and when he unwrapped it the smile was priceless 😄 he actually did a little bounce and squeaked "best present ever", then proceeded to take pictures to send to all his friends. It's now proudly displayed in his mx5... mum win right there 👏

Excellent quality. Yeah, it might feel a bit thin, but it's totally fine. The stamping and printing is exceedingly good. The shrink wrap is a bit of a plus/minus. Of course, one would want 'whatever' item protected. Shrink wrap has a rather unfortunate side effect though. Well, it shrinks! What a surprise! My plate was slightly warped. Nothing catastrophic. Just a little gentle coaxing, emphasis on gentle, and it flattened itself back into shape just fine. There's no need for micrometers and Nasa scientists here. Mildly annoying, yeah. But not that bad, just be patient and gentle. Otherwise the packaging was very sturdy and well thought out. It reminded me of a vinyl record cardboard package. Very stable and generally reliable as long as it doesn't see absurd abuse during it's journey. Overall, this plate is a great deal for the coin paid. Good luck finding anything better... you won't.
