The AVIATOR Pet Bird Harness and Leash: Petite Black

Great Harness. I’ve tried others in the past and I can absolutely confirm Aviator is the only brand I trust to keep my parrot safe. Once both you and the bird get used to the harness it is very simple to use. My caique loves it and gave me no trouble at all. Seller was very professional and helpful. There was a problem with the delivery and The Parrot University went above and beyond to make things right. I’m so thankful for their help and will definitely be ordering from them again. Highly recommend!

I waited a few weeks to write the review to really test it out. So I bought this for my 3 month old double yellow headed Amazon thinking I would try it out after trying out 2 other types of harnesses on my other birds. I thought If nothing else I would use it to get him used to wearing it while he was young and if he chewed it up while learning that would be okay, because I would buy another when he is full grown. The one I ordered had said it was right size for yellow naped Amazon, so I figured it would fit him for a few more months since double yellow heads are a bit bigger...Boy was I wrong. In just the 2 weeks from the time I received it his head has already grown too big to fit. This is by no means the sellers fault in this, but my own. In the past I had ordered different types of harness for my cockatiels and although I liked the other kind of harnesses the each lacked the durability that I wanted for a larger bird. As for the fact this one is all one piece when others I had were harder to put on. This one is durable at least the harness itself. It is a very thick material and I feel like it would take a long time for him to chew it up if he ever wanted to, although I plan to teach him not to and so far he hasn’t tried to chew. The leash part think could be a little thicker. It’s thick enough and I would trust it for one of my smaller birds but for one like him I wouldn’t trust it not to last through a good chewing session. At the same time I don’t plan to have him in it without constant supervision to let there be a chew session, and I always have back up such as a bird carrier backpack. I also know I wouldn’t leave him unattended long enough to chew. I also love that there’s not all these complicated parts that make it take even longer to get it on as others I have tried out. And for a bird who still isn’t full grown I felt like this was much safer then others in being against the crop. It doesn’t pull in the chest area which I appreciate. We did have a blast the first time I got him in it and was able to take him for a walk around the yard to check the mail and it was nice to finally get him out without being in a carrier. He had fun talking to neighbors passing by, charming them with yelling out “hello” to them and he had me laughing with babbling away excitedly whenever he saw something new. I can’t wait to take him out again. He wasn’t too happy when I first put it on him even if we had been getting him used to touching his wings and being wrapped up with a towel. He did enjoy being out and now he doesn’t mind us draping it onto him while formula feeding, since his head doesn’t fit that’s all we can do with it now. I will be buying a larger one soon. This is great to have if you have the time to spend to get your bird to wear it, and it is probably the best made easiest one to put on of those I have tried.

XS fits my jenday conure and an XXS fits my green cheek conure perfectly! The durability is great, my birds were chewing on them a small amount while getting used to it on them. The fabric didn't fray or split at all when they were chewing. The adjustment around the belly is good, not too hard to tighten or loosen up. It doesn't come loose over time while on them, it stays where you adjusted it. Very light weight and not bulky. Although make sure your bird is used to lifting their wings and putting something over their head to use this harness. My birds definitely warmed up to the harness after slowly being introduced to it. Not something to immediately put on them.

I found the CD to be very helpful, with it and some time I feel this will work great. However with my goffin the head area is very tight to get on. I was able to get this on my bird but it was hard and getting it off was a fight. I am unable to see if the body of the harness fits at this time since the little dear will not work with me. It will take time and patience but I can see this working out wonderful for us both. I feel this is a wonderful product which will get my bird back outside where she loves to be. She enjoys the outside and long walks which she has not had since she flew away a few weeks ago. I am new to the bird world and will have to work on some major training since I have taken her in from an owner that didn’t have time and she spent most of her time in a cage. Update: The size I bought which was small will not work with my Goffin. Over the head is just way to tight. It might work if I went up a size which I may contact the seller for a change out. The major issue I have is with how tight the head area is. It is too soon to know if I need to go up a size since I am unable to get this harness on her all the way. I will have to do an update at that time. I am going to give this a 5 star for the CD which was wonderful and I feel this is a great product which will work great, along with the exchange policy if it does not fit. With the CD and the return policy if you have time and patience to work with your bird I feel this is well worth the money. I feel the seller is very helpful and really wants what is best for the bird. That they are more interested in keeping your bird safe along with enjoying the time outside than selling their product. Do not get me wrong I am sure they want to sell and make lots of money I just feel they are more for what is best for your bird and getting the correct fit which makes them a top seller in my book. Look for an update when the sweetie lets me get the harness on her.

I bough the size they recommended for a Senegal parrot. Buy the time it took me to train her to be comfortable enough around it to try it on her I found that it was way to small. I could not even get her head through the proper hole. And I know how to use them properly as I have one that I use for my Galah cockatoo. So by the time I was actually able to test it with her it was to late to return it or exchange it and now I don’t have a proper harness for my baby bird.

Fit my Goffin’s cockatoo pretty well. He doesn’t mind wearing it so it must not be uncomfortable. It’s been pretty durable so far. He has bitten it but didn’t leave damage. The color purple looks really vibrant so it looks good on him. Good buy. I recommend.

We wanted to like this harness, but, it just doesn't work for our half moon conure. We tried the suggested size (XXS), and the head portion is simply not large enough to safely get over his head when taking it off. We even ordered one size up (XS) to see if it worked better, but it was too large. We've watched the video, and our bird is very comfortable with us handling him. I really, really wish that it came with the ability to adjust or stretch the neck portion.I think a bit of elasticity in that portion would solve our issues. The product is well made and durable, but unfortunately does not work for our bird.

他の商品より高価でしたが、安全性と愛鳥の快適性を重視して購入しました。 届いた物を見てあまりの安っぽさに驚愕。 返品も考えましたが、他に代替となる品物も見つからずで息子と２人がかりで試してみましたが、装着するのも窮屈な感じで、何とか取り付けたものの、暴れるどころかほぼ動きが止まり、辛そうな表情、案の定、取り外す余裕すら殆どない。 愛鳥の安全を考えて切断しました。 買わなければ良かったと後悔しています。

This harness is fantastic. It's actually very easy to use after a couple of tries. It looks comfortable on my tiel and it feels very secure, my only issue is the size of the wrist band attached to it. I feel it's very easy for it to move off your hand because of how small/thin it is. I've tried adjusting it but I don't see how. It shouldn't be an issue if you keep a tight hold. Otherwise, it's the only harness out there I trust. Very worth the price.

Ich kann das Geschirr nur Jederzeit empfehlen ! Meine Nympfensittich Dame Coocky war beim ersten Versuch leicht nervös. Aber mit etwas Geduld konnte ich die Flugleine anlegen. Die Größe XXS passt hervorragend !! Nun liegt es an mir mit Coocky zu trainieren. Die mitgelieferte 45 minütige DVD zeigte mir, was ich zu Beginn falsch gemacht hatte. Meine Süsse konnte zwar schon etwas fliegen, aber da war diese Schnalle am Körper, die sie störte. Auch bei der Landung war es eben etwas, was sie nicht kannte. Bei mir war immer im Kopf die Angst, dass Coocky sich befreien könnte oder ich die Schlaufe am Handgelenk vergessen könnte. Also waren wir beide nur aufgeregt ... weiter nix. Ich bin der festen Überzeugung, dass mit meiner Geduld und dem Erfolgserlebnis von Coocky (hoch zu fliegen), sie ihr Geschirr am Körper vergisst, so wie in der DVD beschrieben. Ich für meinen Teil muss lernen dem Geschirr zu vertrauen, mich zu konzentrieren, dass es gut sitzt und meine Angst (es würde nicht halten) Herr zu werden. Zumindest schaffte ich es mit meiner Kleinen über die Strasse zu meinen Nachbarn ;-)

ズグロシロハラインコのために購入しました。他にフライトスーツも購入しましたがこちらのハーネスの方が負担が少ないようで、練習数日で嫌がらずに装着できました。とにかく雛の、訳の分からない段階から装着練習することをお薦めします。

El mejor mejor arnés que puedes tener. Tiene una excelente calidad. (Yo compré hace tiempo uno aquí en México, hecho por una empresa mexicana. Estuve a punto de perder mi guacamaya, la calidad que tiene es muy pobre y nada económico... :/ ) Afortunadamente encontre Aviator y es de lo mejor! El servicio de envío fue un poco tardado ya que se utilizó correo postal mexicano, no llegó a tiempo. Inmediatamente me reenviaron el arnés por DHL y lo recibí 5 días después. Siempre hubo disposición por parte del vendedor para enviarlo nuevamente. Súper recomendado! Muy fácil para ponerlo. Vale la pena tener a tu mascota feliz, darle la oportunidad de salir de casa e incluso volar con seguridad.
