Water Hose 50FT

I was really skeptical about these hoses but after getting this one and using it I bought another one too. The 4 layers do seem to make it more durable and the fittings are good quality. For quickly watering plants or spraying down a sidewalk it's very convenient to use and have it "retract" itself. Much lighter than a normal hose.

so disappointed in this product. 50ft, my a××! I couldn't even get it to 25ft, no matter what I did. Now after using it a bit, it's even shorter. If I go past about 20ft, I get a rubber band effect. I'm back to using my heavier hose. I would send it back but the box got thrown away. Oh. I forgot to mention that there is hardly any water pressure through it, unlike my regular hose. So everything about this hose sucks.

Watering yard plants. Used a 100 ft connected to another 50 foot. 3/4 inch verses previous HEAVY 1 inch hose results in slightly lower water pressure, but ease of use more than offsets that.I did notice the construction of the 50 foot and 100 foot hose, both from the same named company, is a little different. Longer hose seems a little "weave" but both seem to work fine. Just follow suggestions for expanding, and for retracting the expansion. Wife loves using it instead of fighting with 150 feet of very heavy hose, even though the heavy hose is of good quality, also.

As another reviewer notes, one can not stretch this past 25 ft without first turning on the water pressure. But it comes with a valve at the end, so easy enough to close the valve, turn on the pressure, and voila it expands to 50 ft. As advertised. Spraying works too. No idea yet about durability but I intend to keep it pressurized indefinitely, as I am using it to supply a motion-sensitive water sprayer to keep deer away.

This is the second hose from this supplier and seems to be reasonably tough. This technology, while really great for storing a hose, must be carefully handled to avoid damaging the outer woven covering. It will last long if a person can avoid dragging it against sharp edges. This brand seem better than others that I have experienced at avoiding such damage.

I have only used the hose twice so far and I really like it. The hose is very lightweight, compact, and easy to maneuver. I don’t know about durability yet since I’ve only had it for a few weeks.

Good product. I always had the real rubber garden hoses (Goodyear brand), those are almost indestructible yet they are heavy, not as flexible and leave black marks on your hands.These hoses, light, flexible and easy to use. May not last a lifetime but I use them for their portability and so easy to use and store, they do save space.

I like this hose so much. The compactness of it alone is such an improvement for us. The way it is so easy to move around is great and the way the hose fills up is fun to watch. I only marked durability as neutral since we have not had it long enough to really know about it's durability.
