While the seller makes assurances, this doesn't work on all stock stereos that were provided with first-generation (1998-2003) Toyota Siennas.If you have a Toyota AD1702, you might want to steer clear of this device. The YouTube video that led me to this product showed a CD-based stock stereo, and an unfilled port on the rear of the stock unit. Both ports are filled on my AD1702, and replacing the right-side plug (orientation if you are looking at the stereo as installed in the dash) resulted in nothing. The adapter wasn't powered, and pressing the CD button resulted in nothing happening.UPDATE: in the interest of helping those of you unsure about this item, the AD1702 is a "5+7" pin arrangement. I coughed up the cash and bought the Blitzsafe TOY/AUX DMX v.1 a few days ago, and it's worth every penny - works exactly as advertised *and* you get to keep your steering wheel controls!

Website and video said product would work for my 2002 camry by simply removing radio and plugging it in... Radio does not have slot for item (despite item description saying it will. Item costs as much to ship back as paid for, so I am stuck with a product that will not fit my car. Waste of money, don't buy unless you take out your radio, confirm it has a slot, re-install radio, remove radio once item arrives

My wife (and of course myself) is so very happy with now having the ability to connect her iPhone into the stereo of her 2001 Toyota Highlander. Of course the sound is great and the install was a snap. I viewed a You Tube video and it helped me to understand what I was getting into. It took no more than 30 minutes to do the complete job and test that everything was working. It plugged right in the back of the radio head and sounds great. Yes we had to use an adapter from the old 30 pin Apple connection to the Lightning connection on the iPhone 6. The cables installed under the ashtray in the console and can be tucked out of the way when not being used. $25 to save at least $200 was well worth my time! This product works!

Easy to install and is working great on my 05 Tacoma SR5 Prerunner. I did have some troubles with the 1/8th inch plug causing some "whining" sounds when plugging my phone in to play music and I also had to order an adapter for the lightning cable plug on my iPhone. But with that adapter it works great and I can use the functions on my truck stereo to change songs.

Works as advertised- plugs right into the aux/changer port on the back of the head unit, trickle-charges an iPod while playing line-in quality sound (no fm interference, no tape adapter required.) Just bought a second one after two years because the first one finally had a break in the line somewhere. I wish it would feed artist/ track info to the radio display, but what do you want from a <$30 adapter? Overall, I'm satisfied.

Started off well, easy to install and worked as described. Sadly it stopped working in under a year. I am reconsidering purchasing these type electronic items off Amazon, as they seem to have a VERY high failure rate...

I used mine for 4 years in my 2006 Toyota Camry before I accidentally closed my door on the 30 pin head. Shopped around a lot for a similar product to see if I could get something better but had to gett this again, no other way to get steering wheel control for this cheap. the AUX input sound becomes a little wary after 2 years but the 30 pin wire sounded perfect till the end.

Advertised as compatible with Camry 2004 -- it is not. Either it came defective or it simply is not compatible. Inside the box there is a tiny PCB that can be connected either way with no markings. Maybe it was assembled incorrectly, but for me it was money thrown away.
