Easy, Inexpensive, and Better than Replacing Blinds!
I looked online for replacement parts from the original blind company. The parts were about $15.00 for 1, but the company would not sell me the parts unless I had the original receipt. I checked with the local big home improvement stores , the salespersons said I would have to replace the whole blind or it would be very costly to fix. I requested a repair person to give me an estimate to replace the part, it would almost cost as much as a new blind. So, I bought these control tilters from amazon after reading reviews. I made sure of measurements and also that the rod was 1/4" square. I was worried because the new parts didn't look like my original part which was metal (see picture). I watched videos online on how to replace the tilter control and it looked easy. It was easy, and I saved a ton of money. I bought more for later when our other blinds break. My titlers arrived within two days! It took me more time to take down the blind and put it back up than to replace the part. It was so easy. I did need pliers and a hammer to remove the end clips from the blinds. It was so easy. I ordered more for the rest of my blinds for when they break. They tilter control also tilts in the proper direction in case anyone is worried about the other reviews. I wish I had done this a long time ago!

Good quality - just know the tilt direction you want
Several of the wooden blinds in the 20 year old house I bought had broken or tight tilt mechanisms. Internet research indicated that replacing tilt part was easy and sites helped me figure out the correct part to purchase. It's very easy just search you tube for directions. The only issue I had was that this part tilts in opposite my existing ones. In other words if I turn the wand clockwise th slats tilt different way on old versus new part. For this product the slats tilt front edge up when I turn the wand clockwise. I found another vendor with part that tilts the same way as my existing blinds. There does not seem to be a "standard" so I'm not saying this tilts the "wrong" way (some reviewers for other product said it did not match their existing blinds). I'm not too picky about whole house matching but it's annoying that blinds that are side by side are different so I'll be replacing a few others so they match.

Great if you don't mind it rotating backwords
Item is a perfect fit and works well, except for one problem: it spins the wrong direction. When you expect the blind slats to go up, this tilt control makes them go down. There is only one way to install this item, so it isn't that it was installed incorrectly. Generally when you spin, where the rod goes through should spin the opposite direction. That is not so in the case of these, it spins the same direction. For the money, the item works sufficiently, it just annoying to have one blind in the entire house spin a different direction.

Work great and was easily able to fix my old blinds!
Why spend $35+ getting a blind place to fix your blind. -- This did the trick. Based on the photos I was able to select this one as the CORRECT ones to fit my old blinds.

Backwards
It fits but like other reviews they are roll backward compared to my other blinds in my house. So to open I turn my blinds right but this one goes left. It's just one window and one we don't use that often so it works for what I need.
