Has anyone gotten this to fit a 21.5-inch iMac??

I'm unfamiliar with the unique characteristics of a 21.5" iMac, but it does fit a curved 32" Samsung display quite comfortably with plenty of thickness room to spare.

What are the dimensions of the pocket on on the outside of each bag?

The overall dimensions of the bag is 32.1 x 6.4 x 20.2 inches. I don't have a bag in front of me right now (They are at the Church), but I could give an estimate that would be close. 22" W x 12" H, and the pocket can expand about 2".
