Dorman 923-206 Center High Mount Stop Light Compatible with Select Ford / Mazda Models

I finally replaced my cloudy old cab light woth this new Dorman one. It looks great! Only problem I'm having is it works when it works. Checking the wiring and it's all OK so I'm not sure why sometimes the side white lights will alternate on not coming on

The high 3rd break light on my 2010 Ford Ranger was completely broken and wire harness. This ligh from Dorman fit perfectly plus and upgrade to have cargo lights in the back that was not an option of the origenal OEM light. I did have to buy a 3 wire harness separately to take advantage of my upgrade.

I bought this for my husband's 1999 Ford Ranger because the original had finally cracked. He made the switch in just a couple minutes. Its a complete plug in and go light. It works perfectly.

So far, so good. Night and day difference in the illumination output thanks to clear lenses. I ditched the seal that it comes with. It is far too thin, doesn't compress down. Used butyl tape instead. No leaks as of 4 weeks now. It the same sealant that I use on my camper, so I'm confident it won't leak.UPDATE 5/2022:Still holding up. Zero leaks. Zero issues. Still have to wait on the fading factor. Not sure what, if any UV resistance this plastic housing has. Time will tell there.I forgot to mention I installed LED's from SuperbriteLED dot com to replace the dim factory ones. Longest-lasting, quality lights I've ever purchased. All of my vehicles are LED'd. Not a single failure in over the last 8-10 years. And of course, they are super bright. They are more expensive, but worth it, IMO.

Easy to install and fits perfectly

Building up a work truck (03 F250) and the high mount light looked like crap. Nearly pulled the trigger on an LED high mount when I found this. The truck will be operating in all 4 seasons and snow/ice/salt can do some nasty stuff to OEM lights let alone aftermarket. Knowing this going in, I was very excited when I found this OEM replacement. I DID try installing LED replacement bulbs but they would not light up. Despite not being able to put LED replacement bulbs, this brand new high mount light shines BRIGHT, probably because there is zero haze to the housing.If you are replacing your high mount light and concerned about the longevity like I am/was, then I STRONGLY recommend buying this OEM replacement.

This light was exactly like the original, nice and shiny and installed LED bulbs to make it brighter.

Easy install anyone can do! Just need screw driver.
