This is a great little camera. Very small and hard to notice. The night vision and motion detection work well.I receive motion detection alerts on my phone and get live shots or view files from the sd card. The files are 15 minutes long and the motion detection files about a minute. The motion detected files are marked as such on the SD card. I can get about a weeks recording on my 64gb sd card.With my PC I access , review and copy the sd card files to my PC. All files are date and time stamped.On the negative side the extension power cord at about 6 feet could be longer.The Eye4 app for my smart phone usually works well but occasionally stops and you have to enter the app again.The manual is only 9 pages and much of it doesn't relate to this camera. A lot of learning about this camera is through trial and error. For example I couldn't get the camera to connect and discovered the password it was requesting wan't the one you registered with Eye4 but "888888".That would have been nice to put into the instruction manual. Also viewing the SD card files must be done via the camera's IP address not the Eye4 software. I found that out via the manufacturers support FAQ.All in all a nice camera for $60.

UPDATE: 4 July, 2016I am upgrading my review to 5 stars because of the helpfulness of the seller. They have worked with me to iron out any issues, and the camera has been working well for over a month now. It captures beautiful images and works well at night (except for spider problems). I am using it with Blue Iris, which has very good object detection and triggering. I would gladly buy another of these cameras if the need arises; they are very well built.----------- INITIAL REVIEW --------------The hardware is first-rate but the software is absolutely awful - and the instructions are worse. I am impressed with the overall quality of the build and the image is beautiful. The night (IR) vision is particularly good, with even,strong illumination.I could not get the camera to work at all using the Android app, but I was able to get it going with the Windows program, both easily downloadable from their site. After getting it running, I could view the camera with the Android app, but I still can't get the SD card to record anything, and the apps seem to keep losing settings. The instruction manuals (printed and on-line) were not very helpful - actually a bit confusing and clearly not edited well... I was particularly upset that they give no way to set an IP address for the camera.I would give this 5 stars if the software worked. For those with some persistence, there are alternate apps available from the Google store which might do a better job.

I had high hope for this camera. Setup was a breeze and it seems like you can actually login using a web browser to view the camera. I setup the camera with a fixed IP address. I unplugged the camera and went outside to put it up and the camera was not connecting. I brought that camera back to my desk and tried to power it up but no luck. The infrared lights came on and just got stuck on. I also tried resetting the camera but no luck. This camera has a lot of potential and maybe, just maybe this was a bad one I received. My search continues.

this is the easiest camera I have ever had the pleasure to set up and use!!! I am a very critical person and I must say that I am very impressed with this camera all the way around, it even works with my existing IP camera software, I will be replacing my older ones with theseUPDATE!!! I have returned 2 of the cameras only to get defective units, I have had nothing but constant issues with the units staying connected and with the IR not working, I even had a replacement unit that would not even power up... I liked these at first but I would recommend that anyone thinking of these to look else where

The Camera has good night vision.The mounting is of good quality, so far the day image looks pretty. I wish the power brick was more water-proof (the vendors are just now starting to offer a better power supply)The Software is pretty standard- I used BI with the camera. The throughput on the wireless setting is about 8 frames lower based on the actual noise. The Stated SINR for the camera is not correct-actually much lower. That explains the lower throughtput.So far if the camera holds up.....pretty good camera

Camera seems pretty good, clear picture. Mount is pretty bad, though - the swivel stud doesn't tighten enough to hold it's weight when hanging. I'll probably have to buy a different mount. The software works really well. Haven't tried the motion alarms and notifications, yet.

I Bought two cameras of this type, one worked well one day and then this camera present damage. it is trailed off and not relit on.The technical support is very basic and it was not possible to solve the problem.In my concept the power source 12 VDC is very high for these cameras and can damage them.

Amazing quality for its price. Easy to set up. It includes motion detection alarm. The SD card compartment is even somewhat waterproof.The night viewing is also pretty outstanding for its price.I'm glad I purchased this camera.
