I was looking for something to exfoliate my skin. This is perfect and it's not rough at all. It exfoliates just enough to take away dead skin cells. I've noticed my skin looking brighter.

I had been using Konjac Cleansing Sponges with Bamboo Charcoal and really loved them but, sadly, even though I followed all the instructions for use, these sponges kept falling apart on me after about a week. I like to use facial sponges after I wash my face to help get rid of any remaining dirt, cells, etc. So, I recently tried the Appearus Compressed Cellulose Facial Sponges. I must say that after a month's use I am very happy with them.As with the charcoal sponges these work extremely well to gently cleanse the contours of the face and neck. They come in a convenient compressed form for space saving. Once wet, these sponges are soft, absorbent and expand to approximately 3" diameter x 3/8" thick when wet.The Appearus facial sponges are made from 100% natural material and absorb water easily. The cellulose sponges are made from cellulose that is originated from pulp, and natural fiber, such as cotton, as a reinforcement, thus it is environment-friendly, 100% natural material. These materials are non-petroleum, recyclable vegetable fiber and it does not generate carbon dioxide on disposal.Although one can use these sponges multiple times, cleaning them after each use, I use them once and then dispose. I cut the sponges in half to make them last longer. The size of the cut sponge is certainly large enough to cleanse my face thoroughly.I highly recommend this product!JANA

These facial sponges are awesome, I love that they come dehydrated, saving space. But if you live in a humid environment, put them in a ziplock bag once you open them. I live in Hawaii and they expanded slightly, because I noticed it right away, I immediately put them into a bag and that helped to keep them dehydrated. The sponges are made well, I love using them, they are gentle on my skin and don’t fall apart when using a scrub. My daughter recently graduated beauty school and so I sent her a couple, she said that her instructors actually recommended them to the students. These are also a great value, they last a long time, these are definitely a favorite and I will be purchasing them again. They would make a great stocking stuffer!

I was unsure of purchasing this item - complaints of odors, roughness, etc., made me pause, especially considering the price. However, I'm pleased to say that I made no error in purchasing these sponges. The fact that they're made in the U.S. also had a hand in my decision. I've found that they're neither too rough nor too soft; they're thinner than I expected, but they clean my face just as well as thicker sponges have done. They'll get no complaints from me.I have used washcloths, loofahs, etc., and the APPEARUS Natural Cellulose Face Sponge did just as good as job as the others, and even better than some. Where I especially find these sponges better than Any of the others, is how quickly they rinse soap off and how quickly they dry. So, yes, I would buy them again.

More on the soft side, so if soft is what you want these are it! I wish it was a little more rough so I could feel my skin being cleaned when I use one to wash my cleanser or masks! very cool how they expands! Loved the feel! Just need to feel a little more of a surface from these sponges.. also they don't clean off that well when rinsing your mask off, you have to really keep it under and squeeze which I feel lessons the shape over time and wear & tears the sponge faster!

I ordered these on a whim not thinking I’d use them for anything other than travel. But…. I am INFATUATED with them. Better than just using my fingers, much more efficient than a wash cloth and my skin even feels better. I ordered another box. I might hoard them 😁

These facial sponges are much better than washcloths, and easier to use than my Clarisonic, which kept falling out of my shower organizer. I use one a week with Cetaphil Foaming Cleanser and Makeup Remover, and this combination removes all of my makeup. These sponges seem to provide the right amount of exfoliation. I have small patches of a skin condition on my face and have not noticed any increased inflammation from using this product.My teenage son has also started using them. I have found that these sponges have helped him stick to his facial cleansing routine. He doesn't like the feeling of splashing water in his eyes, and these solve that problem.The sponges are easy to rinse and keep clean and I feel they are a good value.

Fast shipping! These sponge are pretty neat. They are wafer thin out of the box, but after it's soaked in water they expand into a soft sponge. I've compared this sponge to the ones that I bought from Shopper's, I like them better and they are actually bigger in size when they expand. Will definitely buy again.

Bought this product a while back, just use it for the first time a few days ago. Great quality and perfect size. That whole box will last a few years for me.
