I was perhaps kidding myself that my butt was smaller than it truly is! At 11.5st and 5ft 2", the seat is just not wide or deep enough for me. Also the odd height of the 'back rest' means it can dig into you. I feel guilty criticising it as it is such a beautiful item and looks MUCH more expensive than it really is and the rise and fall is easy and smooth. It is great vfm. It's not right for the kitchen, so I have moved it to my bathroom where I can sit on it to wash my face and brush my teeth. Would be great for slim people or kids, probably 10 stone and under.

It's not so comfortable and the lift inside it didn't work, so I use it as a door stopper and I like it anyways.

Absolutely lovely bar stool exactly as described. Looks elegant and vintage. Veryeasy to put together, and it is adjustable. The wooden back and leather seat look stylish. Regarding the size of the seat, the size is exactly as described and very comfortable.

Unfortunately I ordered 2 brown stools but as you can see different shades were sent which was disappointing. stools are very good quality and because they are now out of stock (was going to order 2 more) I decided to keep them.

Small, so not entirely comfortable for those with ample posterior. But look great. Easy assembly too

Dislike-very small,not very comfortable. Likes-My 7 year old granddaughter thinks they were made for her and they fit easily under the breakfast bar for extra seating. Wouldn't recommend for an adult

This was the second one I bought, as I liked the first one very much and two look better at my home bar.The stools are easy to assemble in a few minutes , and the rise and fall mechanism works well. The seat could perhaps be a bit bigger , but they are perfect for me. I think they look great by my home bar. Very pleased with them.
