Does it make color coats more opaque? I need to cover a bruised nail and just color isn't doing the trick.

Well I had a bruise and I used this and nail polish on top and you couldn't see it . I used Essie's neutral and pink line and it did a good job . But if it's really purple you might want to do 2 coats of it or stick to pastels with it but it's an awesome product .
