Finger Cymbals meet my expectations and objectives
I needed a set of finger cymbals for a children's choir. Cost was a major consideration as was the quality of sound produced by the instruments. The finger cymbals are appropriate for a child's hands. They would be a little small for an adult. The tone is pleasing to the ear and the pitch is high as it should be. They children have not started using them yet; so, I don't know how they will react to them. As for me, they meet my expectations and objectives. I am pleased with them.

Great Quality for the Price
These far surpasses your typical costume quality accessories. I was super surprised and pleased at the superior quality of these accessories for the price. The necklace was beautiful and sturdy, the gloves well made. Items were nicely packed as well. You won't be disappointed.

Elastic straps are big
These finger cymbals are nice. I wasn't expecting them to sound so pretty or be as thick as they are. They seem very sturdy. My only complaint is the elastic pieces to put them on your fingers are very large and loose. Took off one star for that.

These are toys, not zils.
These are probably great for costumes or children. They are definitely, definitely *not* for performance or class use. These are basically the equivalent of taping mayonnaise jar lids to your fingers; you get approximately the same sounds. They're actually pretty decent for my purposes. I plan on using them as student zils for a beginner ATS class; this will keep the clanging down to a more manageable clack. I doubt anyone will be tempted to steal them, and for those who only come for a few classes and then disappear, neither I nor the student will have wasted $20 on a pair of decent zils for them. I think it will also encourage students to buy their own zils (that actually work). For kids though, they're probably awesome. They're not quiet exactly, but they're definitely not as loud as say, Saroyans; there's little to no chime to these. While I'm sure you'll get tired of clacking sounds, at least it won't be like actual little cymbals all the time. And yes, the elastic comes with a loop that's about 2 inches wide. That's so you can sew/knot/pin it to YOUR FINGER SIZE.

Belly Dance Finger Symbols
These are *exactly* the same as the set my Zills instructor was selling for $15/set. Don't waste money on anything fancier if you're learning, these small ones are perfect for beginners.

Poor design. Dead sound.
Firstly, as other reviews have stated the bands that go around your fingers are too large. In addition to that. There is no separation from your finger and the band touching the symbol. So when you clank the symbols together they make a very dead sound. No resonance. Real symbols need A separation between the symbol and the users hand. Obviously if your hand is touching the bed in the band is touching the symbol when you click the symbols together you don’t get a sound.🙄
